We wanted a relaxing and peaceful and private space. We got it. The staff and team lead Phillip were courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast and lunch was served to us in the villa. The pool was warm so it was such a luxury to step into your own pool from morning to night. The view from our terrace was stunning and really couldn’t be better. We weren’t overlooked or crowded in like Oia or Fira. Would totally recommend this location for peace and seclusion.

A little more screen for orivavcy between villa’s would have been nice. And would recommend staff inform you of their intention to bring services, water etc so that it is not unexpected. Overall though they remained polite and apologetic when entering the villa.

The entire experience was 10 out of 10. The honeymoon suite was special with the classic greek architecture and unreal views that will forever be instilled in my mind overlooking the caldera from the heated pool or the comfy lounge beds. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast is served to your room and it's fantastic. The most standout part of our stay was the superb hospitality delivered to us daily from the entire staff. Odi, the owner, and his team go above and beyond to meet guests expectations. If you need a cab, a bottle of wine, or lunch/dinner ordered and sent to your suite, they will ensure all your needs are satisfied. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable, luxe stay- this is the place.

Hi, Cape 9 Villas is wonderful. Quiet, spotless, out of the way of Oia and the downtown area with the black sand beach. That, to us, is what made is so special. Being an outlier, may not be for everybody, but we got exactly what we were seeking, and that is peace and quiet, and complete relaxation. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Phillip (Phillipous) He goes truly, above and beyond, to make all of the guests feel welcome, pampered, and he will make every effort possible to see that you have what you need and want to make your stay special. If you want late night food, extra towels, more wine, whatever it may be, he will make it happen. He is a joy and an asset, and his being Greek, thus fluent in the language, is also a huge benefit.

The hotel restaurant closes at 6:00 pm. Adding a microwave to each room, would be really nice. Not everyone is ready for dinner at 6:00 pm, so having a way to reheat food, either that from Cape 9, or elsewhere, would be really nice. There is plenty of room to add one on the counter, even if it meant moving the wine cooler to another location. Also, upgrade the quality of towels. They are the roughest, most uncomfortable towels to dry off with. An easy fix that should be considered. Overall though, just a lovely, wonderful property. Gorgeous views, and watching the travel ships move in and out, was peaceful to watch.

The property was beautifully designed, stunning, with own pool, living area upstairs and cave bedroom downstairs. The views were amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful. Very relaxing place to be and had a wonderful stay.

Unless you want to do nothing but relax during your stay you need to hire a car (do it online rather than when there - 60% cheaper online). The property is outside the local town and on a windy and hilly road which wouldn’t be safe to walk a distance on. You can get to most beaches and main towns in 10-20 mins by car and very easy to get around.

It was right on a rather busy highway, leading to quite a bit of noise throughout the day and night I opted not to rent a car, and while walking into town was quite simple, anywhere else required a vehicle, if only for safety, as it’s not really wise to walk along the road with a minimal shoulder and heavy traffic The shade on the patio is very minimal… Only a small macrame umbrella I had a partial view of the caldera from my suite, but half of the view was of the road, as well as a property below

The property is beautiful, well laid out, private and comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. The property is away from the crowds and very relaxing. The property is a short ride to Oia, the port and other tourist sites and staff were happy to arrange transport. Breakfasts were wonderful and staff provided us with a list of recommended restaurants, including restaurants that provided transport. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful property away from the crowds. The accommodation and staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfasts are wonderful. The pools and accommodation are really beautiful. There is nothing that is disappointing. Totally recommended. It is not so close to the tourist areas but that is a bonus because the beautiful location can be enjoyed without crowds and the staff are happy to arrange drivers to take you anywhere you wan to go and bring you back.

It’s just immaculate. You get so much private outdoor space - a private heated pool as well as communal pools, outdoor dining table book and lounge seating - all with an absolutely spectacular unobstructed view of the Caldera. You can walk into Akrotiri too. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

If you want to be in Oia for your trip, it’s the other side of the island - bur still accessible by car/tacis. But as we had children with us Akorotiri is much more accessible and away from hoards of tourists.

Everything! Spotlessly clean, aesthetically pleasing, stunning view, excellent and friendly staff, comfort level beyond expectations, lots of privacy and roomy apartment, pool with perfect temperature, delicious breakfast served outside near our room. You can see pretty much the whole island, including Oia and Fira, from the hotel - and all rooms have a sea view. We found a little road to walk in the morning which took us down to the Red Beach and gave us great views and quiet - (and we walked down to the local restaurants this way also) - highly recommended. Also - do rent a car because, while Akrotiri is quieter (and cheaper) than the more touristy places, you do need a car to visit the rest of the island, and it’s easy to drive around. We drove everywhere from the hotel, and parking there is no problem.

The only drawback was the road right in front of the hotel, which likely bothered us a bit more because we had a room at the front. That said, we got used to it, and the view was so spectacular that it compensated for it to a large extent. And we would stay at Cape 9 again in a heartbeat!

Everything. The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully presented and spacious..plenty of spaces. The breakfast menu and food menu was fantastic and tasted delicious. The staff were very helpful, welcoming and treated us like family. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. Katerina, Nick, Nichos, Ceasar and Maria. Thank you for making our stay magical.
