Everything was perfect

I recently stayed at the stunning CAPE 9 in Santorini, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the Caldera. The hotel’s architecture perfectly blends traditional Cycladic style with modern luxury. Our room featured a private plunge pool overlooking the deep blue Aegean Sea — waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. The interiors were elegant, spotless, and tastefully decorated in soothing white and blue tones. Breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace every day, offering a delicious selection of fresh fruits, Greek pastries, yogurt, and made-to-order omelets. The infinity pool area was another highlight — serene, immaculate, and with plenty of cozy loungers to relax under the sun. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always ready to offer great recommendations for local restaurants, hidden beaches, and boat tours. The hotel owner and his wife provided excellent customer service, making our stay even more enjoyable.The view from our room was stunning- we could see the Caldera right from the window. Breakfast was served in our room, which was such a lovely touch. We also visited nearby restaurants, and the owners' even offered free transportation there. One of the most special moments was on my birthday- they surprised me with a cake and wine which was super thoughtful and made the day unforgettable. Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed and came with private pool and breathtaking view. I'll definitely book this same hotel the next time I visit Santorini.

The location is far so you need a mode of transportation as the island is built on lots of hills. The hosts however organized free transportation for us to a handful of restaurants. They also told us about local events like a Greek night which was very fun! The views are amazing and the villa is very comfortable once I figured out how to work the AC remote. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Variety on the breakfast options as I don’t really enjoy eggs so I had bread every morning. I would have happily paid for a breakfast menu of my choosing. I do appreciate that they organized breakfast though as you can’t really walk somewhere to eat.

We wanted a relaxing and peaceful and private space. We got it. The staff and team lead Phillip were courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast and lunch was served to us in the villa. The pool was warm so it was such a luxury to step into your own pool from morning to night. The view from our terrace was stunning and really couldn’t be better. We weren’t overlooked or crowded in like Oia or Fira. Would totally recommend this location for peace and seclusion.

A little more screen for orivavcy between villa’s would have been nice. And would recommend staff inform you of their intention to bring services, water etc so that it is not unexpected. Overall though they remained polite and apologetic when entering the villa.

The entire experience was 10 out of 10. The honeymoon suite was special with the classic greek architecture and unreal views that will forever be instilled in my mind overlooking the caldera from the heated pool or the comfy lounge beds. The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast is served to your room and it's fantastic. The most standout part of our stay was the superb hospitality delivered to us daily from the entire staff. Odi, the owner, and his team go above and beyond to meet guests expectations. If you need a cab, a bottle of wine, or lunch/dinner ordered and sent to your suite, they will ensure all your needs are satisfied. If you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable, luxe stay- this is the place.

This property is gorgeous and spotless both inside, as well as the grounds! The views are incredible and the accommodations are built with the traditional cave like Santorini feel. We rented two bedroom with plenty of space. Breakfast was delivered to our suite each morning. It is on the quiet side of the island where the owners know everyone. They set us up with restaurant and catamaran experiences and even had a car delivered for us once we were comfortable with the island.

Hi, Cape 9 Villas is wonderful. Quiet, spotless, out of the way of Oia and the downtown area with the black sand beach. That, to us, is what made is so special. Being an outlier, may not be for everybody, but we got exactly what we were seeking, and that is peace and quiet, and complete relaxation. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Phillip (Phillipous) He goes truly, above and beyond, to make all of the guests feel welcome, pampered, and he will make every effort possible to see that you have what you need and want to make your stay special. If you want late night food, extra towels, more wine, whatever it may be, he will make it happen. He is a joy and an asset, and his being Greek, thus fluent in the language, is also a huge benefit.

The hotel restaurant closes at 6:00 pm. Adding a microwave to each room, would be really nice. Not everyone is ready for dinner at 6:00 pm, so having a way to reheat food, either that from Cape 9, or elsewhere, would be really nice. There is plenty of room to add one on the counter, even if it meant moving the wine cooler to another location. Also, upgrade the quality of towels. They are the roughest, most uncomfortable towels to dry off with. An easy fix that should be considered. Overall though, just a lovely, wonderful property. Gorgeous views, and watching the travel ships move in and out, was peaceful to watch.

Cape 9 villas and suites is the perfect spot if you’re seeking a more quiet, laid back vibe to your Santorini island visit! The suite we stayed in was very private, spotlessly clean, huge comfortable beds and great shower pressure! Akrotiri is about 15 mins away where you can take a bus to Fira if you don’t want to hire a car. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful and catered to our every need 😊

Nothing - it was great!

The property was beautifully designed, stunning, with own pool, living area upstairs and cave bedroom downstairs. The views were amazing. The staff could not have been more helpful. Very relaxing place to be and had a wonderful stay.

Unless you want to do nothing but relax during your stay you need to hire a car (do it online rather than when there - 60% cheaper online). The property is outside the local town and on a windy and hilly road which wouldn’t be safe to walk a distance on. You can get to most beaches and main towns in 10-20 mins by car and very easy to get around.
