Hôtel de la Concorde's location is fantastic. Directly on the Orbe River. Trout beneath your feet. Fly Fisherman. Great ambience. A beautiful promenade extends beyond the hôtel, past the very cool Chemin de Fer Museum. Just a chill place to hang. A picnic park is just beyond. The main street with many restaurants is a very short walk away. Perfect! There is no Reception at Hôtel de la Concorde. Check-In is accomplished on-line. A very simple procedure. You receive the lovely Cathrine's phone number for any questions you may have. An unlock page appears on your phone. With two buttons. One to unlock the main door, and one to unlock your room. The system works flawlessly. The only thing to consider: Make sure your phone is charged... Phone battery dead? No entry. Just a heads-up.

No overnight parking immediately adjacent to the hotel. I called my hotel contact, the lovely Catherine. She gave me the low-down on where to park for free. Near the patinoire/ice skating rink. You can drop your luggage right at the hotel, then drive and park under the lovely trees next to the Orbe, by the ice rink. From here it is a lovely 5 minute walk back. I took the main street - the Grand-Rue back. So I could check-out restaurant choices whilst walking. Perfect.

all is automated and it works fine. high quality standard and very nice bicycle room

they rely 100% on a working cell phone with 4G. this is for europe not so evident since the use of data is expensive here. But if you have data, it’s no problem of course, works fine. the price ishigh, but the quality is high
