The facilities were gorgeous and the setting is serene. I particularly enjoyed the indoor pool & spa area which were perfect & tranquil - as the weather wasn’t great the whole holiday, although we still managed to enjoy the outdoor pool which is great and goes deep, unheated with gorgeous views of the Beach and Lisbon in the distance. Our room was spacious enough with a decent sized balcony to eat & drink. The small kitchen space was surprisingly well kitted out for the size and I managed to cook a few meals for 2. Plenty of shops nearby for supplies. Recommend the chicken shops! Especially ‘Radical’. The reception staff were all lovely, warm and incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. I liked the Robes & slippers they provided.

It would have been cool if there were more service options to the pool side area as it’s quite a walk to the bar. Had to pay for the swim cap (required for indoor pool).

the staff was great and super on top of my needs the room was clean and with everything we needed lovely pool outside and a nice restaurant the breakfast was great with plenty of choices of balanced food options

room don't have recycling bins spa swiming pool should be more restricted as we had people using it in an unproper way pool outside has several rules, but all of them were being broken. Now in all honesty, other than the smoking, none of the broken rules affected my experience.

An absolutely amazing resort. Everything you could ask for. If you are after relaxation just out of Lisbon then this is the place. The facilities were spectacular. Bed was huge and comfortable, towels large and fluffy and breakfast extensive. We stayed here as they had secure parking and easy access to the airport (about 25 minutes) to return our hire car and fly to our next destination.

It was a little strange having to walk through so many other buildings and codes for all the doors to get to our apartment. However, in doing so you could respect their security and felt very safe.

Staff were super welcoming and helpful even when i lost my locker key down the swimming pool drain! And found my toddler's hat. It's a lovely resort, the outdoor pool is beautifully situated and I was surprised the beach was so close. We really enjoyed our trip to the indoor pool as well, it was easy to reserve a slot and the massage jets were appreciated. We had a great view over the wetlands, it was great to have such a spacious balcony with sun loungers and dining table although i mostly set on the comfy sofa indoors where i could also see the view (btw take bug spray). We wanted Portuguese food and reception recommended and booked the restaurant acroas the road where we had delcious grilled fish and more great service. I would definitely recommend it here for a family stay.

Only improvements might be a luggage stand for the room and easier way to open parking garage (great to have a space nearby room though).

Praia do Sal Resort is a perfect place to stay for those who seek serenity and home-like luxury. The apartments are spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool / river view <3 The facilities are great (the pool is beautiful and clean, there are enough sunbeds for the guests). The resort is eco-friendly. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind - their positive attitude is contagious :) During our stay we were informed about the local festival, which turned out to be a very interesting event (we recommend August stays). The location is wonderful - close enough to Lisbon (travelling through the bridge is really nice); by the river beach (full of shells, crabs, etc.) and with the shops within the walking distance. The Omaggio Restaurant is excellent - we planned our trips the way that allowed us to eat dinner there (everything was delicious, fresh and wholesome). Many thanks to the Reception Team for doing their best to make our holiday unforgettable <3 Should we ever be back in this part of Portugal, we will definitely stay in Praia do Sal Resort!

I only wish we had stayed there longer!

Appartment, 2bedrm was okay for a few nights. Location is awesome, just a short drive to the ferry terminal with free parking, and its just a 25min ferrytrip to Lisbon and you can start right in the oldtown.

One of the bedroom was really small and tight, no space to store a suitcase. No plugs by bed, they are across on the walls. Nothing to hang towels or clothes up to dry. No hooks or anything to hang up jackets.

we had booked two rooms. one was a 3 bedrom suite and was very nice. the second was a one bedroom apt and although it was clean, it was quite run down. the furniture was broken or in very poor condition, the patio furniture could not even be used unless you wanted to ruin your clothes. I understand they are owner maintained properties but there should be a minimum standard to be upheld and this property ( one bedroom) was below standard.

quality of furnishings. in both suites, the kitchen cupboards were all sagging and not in alignment. they all clearly need some maintenance. The indoor pool was nice also but it would be nice to have some larger robes and slippers that actually fit. (6ft2, 200lbs) nothing here is made for larger people.

I loved everything about the hotel. The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help with every request of ours stood out. The spa and pool was fantastic. They even gave us umbrellas when it was raining and helped guide us over the phone because we were unsure how to use the oven in our room. Outstanding service.

There isn't anything that we didn't like. I can't complain about anything. The hotel were receptive to our every need.

Staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely resort and so clean. Food in restaurant was lovely. Kimoa Beach Bar across from resort is highly recommended. Spa treatments amazing. Lovely little town with some fab restaurants. Lidl, Aldi and supermarket 15 minutes walk away. Apartments were fab with all mod cons, air con, even a washing machine which was great. Lovely pool. We went beginning May so no problem getting beds by pool, as pool area lovely but small. Used Uber to get into Lisbon City around 25-30 mins away. Shopping outlet 8 mins drive away. We had a lovely girls holiday and hope to return.

Breakfast a bit expensive at 15 euro per person. If staying a few days can do your shopping for everything in supermarkets.

Staff were very helpful. Able to check in early and leave our bags. They very helpfully arranged transport to a wedding we were attending for 11 people, and booked us a table at a local restaurant when the hotel one was full. The pool area is lovely and the bedrooms are a good size. Had a massage while there which was great, very relaxing. The food in the restaurant was very good.

Aircon wasn't great in the bedroom. There was a pool bar but what they were able to provide didn't match the menu. I don't know if they've only just opened, if they can get this up and running would be great. Pool very busy at the weekend, think it might be shared with local apartments?
