Located right in the center of town, this must have been a very nice, premium hotel about 30 years ago. It has not been maintained ever since. Now all the furniture is super old. Piping and electricals are barely functioning. However, the staff are amazing at getting the most of what is left. The rooms are still cleaned well every day, linen smells fresh and the breakfast is tasty. We found our stay surprisingly comfortable despite a dubious first impression. Pricing reflects the state of the hotel pretty well. If you don't mind a creaky mattress and the odd leaky pipe, you can get yourself a bargain.

Perfect location, near the port and all shops in the center. Very close to agencies etc. Beds, toiletries, bathroom were clean and cleaned every day. Water hot&cold) available all dag and all night. Reception is 24/7, which is nice when you want to come later

Our room had a window with a little airflow which was quite unfortunate due to the weather when we were there. Breakfast is not really extensive. Only croissants and dry bread. But croissants are really good.

We really liked the staff! They were very friendly and helpful! We loved the location! It was very central! Thank you very much for a great stay! We would recommend this hotel for the friendly staff and location! As an aside we wanted to mention that we had a bad experience with a taxi driver who was late in picking us up from our hike and he was really dishonest agreeing to one price then charging much more. He showed us an abandoned railroad and said this was part of a tour!!!! We just wanted a ride back to our hotel. It was very strange!! We would recommend taking public transport in Ushuaia if you are doing the park hikes!!

I booked a private room, with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The room is nice and sober, and it comes with a fridge. The beds are large enough, with a fair enough good mattress. For this room, there is an ensuite bathroom that comes with a power shower, with hot water, a toilet and a sink. All were clean. Towels are provided. No kitchen available for guests. Breakfast is included, from 7:30am to 9:30am, and has cereals, 2 medialunas, bread with butter/jam/dulce de leche, juice, coffee/tea/milk/hot water. The WiFi is good. Located in the center of Ushuaia. 30m away from the main street Av. san Martin. Many drinking/food place options nearby. The staff (Luis and most of all Ivan) is very friendly. Ivan is chilled and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

The location is the best part as it is central to everything. The rooms are very basic and dated, but provide you with all you need for a home base to tour the area. Breakfast is just croissants and cereal but at least you are provided with a little starter with free juice and coffee or tea to start the day. The grocery store is only one block up the hill.

Breakfast is a bit too basic and it can be a bit noisy if your room fronts the street like mine did, but it is not a busy street.

I admire that they are using old towels but the stains are unbearable. They charged the accommodation way ahead of time! For example for my stay 12 Nov - 14 Nov, they charged already on the 7th! So weird.

The stains on the bed sheets and the towels. They need to be replaced.

The location was excellent! Really close to the harbor and to different restaurants and bars. The room is ok if you go just for sleeping. Cleanliness and comfort were ok, also the size of the room. The staff weren't too friendly, but it doesn't matter to me. Breakfast was enough, there was caffe, milk, toast and croissants. However, when I made the reservation, I was worried about the place because I had read a lot of awful reviews. But I was there (room 16, 3 nights) and everything was good, according to the rate. I mean, if you want a high quality service, you can't expect it if you pay a really low price.

Excellent location in the center. We could leave our luggage before check-in. Warm room. Great shower with super hot water. Nice view from the room. Good value for the price.

There's not much light in the room. The wifi did not work in our room (3rd floor).

Was a little nervous booking this due to not so good reviews but got a good online price. Check in was easy The room was excellent!! Great shower water pressure. Really good location. Would stay here again.

I mean yes it’s old but compared to other options for that price it’s perfect, especially the location is unbeatable! in my opinion should have an average rating of 7.5, def not below 7..
