Property is lovely, modern, although a little sparse and cold. It was a particularly cold weekend and the restaurant felt quite cold. The rooms also have concrete floors unheated which made it feel cold. I expect this property would be a nicer stay in summer. The staff were lovely & warm but it appeared understaffed. Food was hit and miss, some dishes amazing (waygu entree) some not so much (rainbow trout main). The grounds are lovely and its in a wonderful location for wine tasting. We were just there overnight and needed somewhere to stay for the evening. I will try returning in summer for a few nights to take full advantage of the property and location.

Noisy, the concrete floors and thin walls led us to hear our neighbor coughing for most of the night. Does make the room feel quite cold with the concrete being unheated. Carpet would have felt warmers. Shame the fire place in the sitting room wasn't on. Was certainly cold enough for it. I feel if I had paid full price for the night I would have been rather disappointed but the deal we picked up for the night and breakfast has led to the better ratings.

Lancemore Milawa is a nice luxury resort set amongst neat vines and lawns. Our room was large, quiet and comfortable. The resort is across the road from the Brown Brothers vineyard and restaurant, and a short stroll to the Milawa pub.

Lancemore Milawa is a very expensive place to stay, and although somewhat luxurious it doesn't quite justify the cost. The pool is small, the breakfast offerings outside of the cooked options were lacking, e.g. the only fruit provided were melons, and our room's balcony was shared with others. I understand these are relatively minor complaints but at the prices charged I was expecting a little better.

Room was large but was surprised for a luxury accommodation of the cold concrete floor in the room. There was a rung under the bed, however It didn't soften the room. Food at the restaurant was lovely, however it is pricey

It was advertised there was a coffee machine in the room and that had not been updated since covid days. The staff were apologetic about it; however, it was misleading, and it did lead to my decision in staying where I did.

Staff were lovely and went above and beyond. The bed was amazing, room and outlook very restful, the property is stunning, restaurant service outstanding and location perfection. Loved it! One night wasn’t enough and I’ll definitely be back.

Tiny things - rain shower head, didn’t seem connected properly and had a leak to one side so not great shower pressure/direction. I’m a fan of an adjustable head/handheld option. And it would be good to have the fridge shut away to reduce noise overnight. Both very minor things in an overall amazingly memorable stay!!

We loved our room. We were upstairs & had great views over the vines. The bed was really comfy.Air con worked well. Bathroom was clean & products were very good.

Needs more towel holders. Needs a light in the wardrobe as ours was very dark. Breakfast was very limited & although the Bircher muesli was very good,the males in our group felt that there should be more choice.

We enjoyed our stay at Lancemore Milawa. This was our second time and the hotel had undergone some lovely renovations. Staff friendly and attentive as always.

The food was the star on out first trip to Lancemore Milawa, this time the food was not the best as last time. The rib eye steak was not the best (room service). But the 3 course dinner at Merlot was lovely and staff great. The poached egg in our room service for breakfast had 2 pieces of egg shell (it’s not the end of the world) but just thought to let you know.

The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely (shared) balcony overlooking the garden pond. Easy parking and fast free wifi. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t have time to stay for the included breakfast and on checkout the reception staff noticed this and kindly ensured we took some lovely pastries with us.

There is a little noise from the winery across the road through the night (trucks arriving etc) but with the balcony sliding door closed, it was absolutely fine. It didn’t bother us so it’s only an issue if you prefer fresh air through the night.

Staff mostly lovely and helpful. Bed very comfortable. Grounds well maintained.The bathroom was a disaster, as the floor floods from the shower. Only 2 plastic shower curtains, and no lip round shower. As we are elderly, it was very dangerous. Also, no vanity unit, just a handbasin. Nowhere to place your toiletries. Only mirror was in bathroom.

Breakfast was terrible. Bacon burnt to a crisp, scrambled eggs dry & hard, 1 tiny grilled vine tomato, baked beans missing. This was the Country breakfast on day 1. Day 2. No fruit platter, no bowls ( had my muesli on b&b plate. No muffins. Admittedly, they were full & busy, but waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, then when I asked for more fruit to be brought out, was told we finis b’fast at 10am.

Clean bedrooms and the food at the restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast (especially breakfast!). The grounds are well kept, beautiful and clean. Staff very were friendly and helpful.

It does seem to have a bug problem. Hallways littered with flies and fruit flies throughout our stay, possibly due to the close proximity to the vineyard. Would have been good to get the cleaners to vacuum and wipe down the windowsills. Also the balconies are not very private as there are no partitions, you can walk the length of the whole balcony which connects to all the other rooms (not great if you have kids also).

Friendly, helpful staff. Would love to experience the outdoor facilities in the warmer weather. The pool looked great and the outdoor casual areas inviting. Pity it was too cold during our stay to enjoy these facilities.

Finishes in lounge/dining room was very modern (minimalist) but it was hard to hold a conversation when busy due to lack of 'soft finishes'.
