my expectations are simple - somewhere quiet, clean, and comfortable. While a little on the older side, Millers Cottage scores well on those. Room was big enough, I slept well the three nights, and despite being close to the main road the solid construction means it's no noisy. The staff were fantastic, Terry especially went out of his way to help me when I stupidly checked out and left something in my room.

I'm 6' tall, and like so many places it seems showers were designed for 5' tall people! that said, the water was hot so it wasn't really a problem

A clean and comfortable room with all facilities expected for our $345 for 3 days. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing except we still needed to travel to Bright to see the autumn scene there. Our accomodation we booked for Bright at Bright Cabin Park was of such a poor standard and for a similar price we were relieved to find a vacancy on the night at Millers Cottage, where we ve stayed a few times and have learned to expect good value and comfortable accomodation so headed straight there after witnessing that dive at Bright Cabin Park.

We stayed here overnight on a road trip from NSW to VIC in the family room (6 beds). The property is old and rundown, but it was still pretty well maintained, clean and comfortable, which is all we needed for our quick stopover. Toiletries and room amenities were as described and to be expected. The manager Terry was very helpful and friendly.

Nothing to really point out. As mentioned, the property is a little rundown but that was expected with the price, stars and images.

Not the current managers fault as been in there circumstances as a motel manager but definitely needs some updating done to the property paint works and updating of rooms painting inside new floating floors be good get rid carpet and upgrade bathrooms and heating & cooling pool def needs attention

the room's where a good size and clean everything expected from a budget motel u couldn't of asked for anything more for a cheap room for a night or two the bed was comtable and everything was provided soap towels milk coffee towels and everything worked well the shower was clean and water pressure was good aswell l stayed in the back rooms it was very quit short troll into town and very close to the walking trails and river next time l will be bringing my fishing rod so l can go for a fish l will stay there again thanks for letting me stay and for the extra nigth so l wouldn't have to walk round town all day until l caught the bus home instead l caught it the next day when more trains where available thanks l will be staying again in the future

not many tv channels to choose from the sound was there, but no picture,so l couldn't watch any movies on GO seven mate ect ect

Great for a quick stop, wouldn't stay more than 1 night but comfy and clean and done the job. Owner/receptionist man was friendly

Old fashioned rooms, lighting wasn't the best. Gap under door and quite alot of noise, pleased I was put round the back away from the road. Next door sat smoking by my window and could hear and smell everything. Expensive for what It is really. Probably wouldn't stay again for this price.

The manager Terri was incredibly helpful and friendly. Terri provided a lock up facility for my bicycle, advised the local attractions and routes to the bicycle paths in the area. Enquired about our satisfaction with the stay and if any more could be done to improve.

Facilities need some uplift to brighten up the appearance. While adequate for a motel, the general landscape could use some improvement to give a feeling of tidiness and connection with the buildings. The grass was cut and the pool was clean, but the large trees need removing and the rear improved to feel less industrial. Perhaps something for children beyond the simple swing set for families to enjoy.

The location was good to the Main Street and where the even was that we went to and it was easy enough to find our way around to places we wanted to go

The parking situation but I know it can’t be helped so it’s all good it was just abit tight for a big car like ours but we got around it

Old but reasonable. The edge of the carpet at the door way to the bathroom had a number of small nails with their points up through the carpet. I found them by stepping on them. The shower taps needed to be turned off very hard to stop the shower from dripping.

The owners communicated openly and were very friendly. The shower was wonderful after a day-long drive. They owners provided adequate facilities to keep the room comfortable for an evening overnight.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable, though managed through the night. It is typical of a spring mattress. The only other feedback would be that the kettle did not fit under the faucet.
