The staff were exceptionable, courteous, helpful in every respect, couldn't fault them, be they reception, catering or cleaning staff. The management should be well please with those they employ. The facilities were excellent and clean. The bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent.

The room was adequate, but I wouldn't classify it as deluxe. The room furniture was dated and the work surface for the dressing table etc was chipped and needed replacing. Net curtains also needed to be replaced in bedroom and in common areas where hung. Toilet didn't flush properly and need a good push a number of times, to get it to work as it should. The sleeping accommodation really needs a lot of TLC.

Didn’t expect this place to be as great as it was! Hotel is in a really nice quiet area so is perfect for a relaxing stay, but it isn’t in a remote location which is convenient. Check in process is really straight forward. Rooms are immaculate and look exactly like the pictures. They are also well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and you get some stunning views. There are lots of activities to do on site so this is perfect for a couple or family. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms could do with AC. The Spa is touchless so if you are after a massage you would need to check out places nearby.

Staff were very friendly. The visit was during a storm and fortunately parking was available right outside the door. Unfortunately, having checked-in, the room was situated back outside from the main building. However, the room was a very pleasant surprise, large and fully equipped, tastefully furnished with plenty of electrical sockets. The bathroom is minimalistic, smart and clean. The main clubhouse is very smart with nice little modern touches. The restaurant, probably due to the storm felt a little soulless. The food offerings are more akin to a quick snack rather than a long leisurely dinner but the staff were really nice.

Only that we had to sprint back and forth from the bedroom to the main clubhouse/restaurant area. Although, on a lovely summers evening this would not present a problem. Trying to find the property, despite it's size, during a dark night/storm was not easy.

The room we were in (281 ) was extremely hot,dispite opening the window and having the fan on at all times.. the toilet was difficult to flush, and my husband got stuck in the bathroom because the handle was tricky! But we asked for and we’re given a sheet for our second night.. much better. The bed was a tad hard for me personally, and the pillow a bit full. The room was clean and presentable…and possibly would be a more comfortable temperature at different times of the year. The breakfast was extensive and well prepared and layer out.. the restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Edward!

Everything! They say first impressions last and it’s true. From the moment we walked through the doors we felt welcome, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and even allowed us to take a look around the spa facilities despite it being closed for cleaning before the evening session. The Hotel is spotless, the rooms are excellent with everything you need and the shower was unbelievable! We ate in the restaurant and the food was both reasonably priced and very good! There is a lovely large seating area outside where we sat and enjoyed the lake! Exceptional experience from beginning to end and we we will definitely be back!

The rooms were modern, clean, with smart bathrooms.

The restaurant was all wood and hard so acoustics very bad and one could not hear yourself think let alone speak to friends. Soft furnishings needed to bring down the noise. Food was too salty - prawns. Gyros the bread needs to be slightly toasted to brush off the surface flower or it turns into a pulp on the inside with the yoghurt and fillings and become a soggy dough. The linguine was slightly over cooked and sauce too heavy. Again watch the salt and keep the sauce light, this is hard to do if the pasta is over cooked as the starch combines with the sauce.

I enjoyed the food and cocktails in the main building restaurant. The room was very clean and modern. Security came over to me at 3am on my way back from a few drinks in town and were polite and friendly just making sure the site was secure (I borrowed a lighter off the gentleman for a ciggy which was kind of him). Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. My partner said the spa was very relaxing, unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to go but maybe next time. It was a nice little getaway for me and my family. I arrived and there was a cot as requested, no issues whatsoever.

To be honest I can’t fault my stay at all and I’m usually quick to moan about things. :)

We wanted a larger room with proper seats to relax in and this room delivered , only thing would of liked is a walk in shower as getting in and out of a bath when older and very short it’s a challenge , and the bed was very hard however a super size which was what we wanted . The lights which say low energy generate a huge output of heat in the bathroom and bedroom which was surprising so the fan was a must . The room was overall really pleasant and comfortable .

The room was very nice, comfortable and clean, very well appointed. Lakeside bar and restaurant very nice.

Check in via the computer screen was awkward and slow, the ladies on reception were there to help and could have checked us in much quicker and easier but they insisted we use the screen, couldn't see the point in having both . The Gravel Pit bar and restaurant were very nice, but we found it cheaper and better value to visit the local KFC , no need at all to charge £9 for a portion of Eton mess. All in all we had a great stay and will return.

Conveniently located in close proximity to major routes, however we couldn't hear any traffic from our hotel room. All the staff were extremely professional, polite and happy to help. Our room was exceptionally clean and we found the design and layout had been really well thought through. The Y-Spa facilities were absolutely amazing! We booked in advance for 3 hours access excluding any treatments and we found this ample time to indulge in everything on offer. The staff explained the registration process very efficiently and obviously knew their roles very well. If I was to really try to find something to complain about... More coffee would be nice in the room, however reception staff were more than happy to let us have more! We will be back :)
