A very nice resort hotel, in the midst of a large park. Very near the center of the lovely spa town. Large, comfortable, well furnished rooms, spotlessly clean bathrooms, quiet. Attentive and helpful staff. Fine wellness centre with a pleasant swimming pool and saunas. Excellent breakfast. From the staff David and Irena in the reception stand out. David gave us an genuinely warm and friendly welcome at check in. Also Jitka, the head of the breakfast team, is charming and highly professional.

The weak point of the hotel are the buffet dinners - for a five star hotel very limited choices are on offer, the hot dishes are seldom replenished. So, one finishes the day with just a few, ordinary cold starters. The dinner staff is detached and apathetic. The impression from the dinner tarnishes the image of the hotel. All in all, we had the buffet dinner on two occasions. The experience, as described above, was almost identical. Therefore, it is not a coincidental occurrence, but a real problem.

Great location, very attentive staff, good value for a winter break. Comfortable bed and very effective curtains. Interesting town with plenty of green spaces and interesting buildings. Lots of running routes.

Maybe the pool was a degree or two cooler than ideal but no big deal

The hotel is nice, but a little bit below my expectation. The pictures are nicer than the reality, but I would recommend this hotel. The hotel personnel was very nice and helpful, the room was clean, the pool even though is small it is very nice, the food was ok. I was just maybe expecting a little bit more from 5 start hotel, but considering that the town is small and compared with the other hotels in the area, this hotel was actually very good.

I did not like the variety of food for breakfast. It had too few options for a 5 start hotel and there were the same options every day. So for people staying there for a week, that can be a problem in my opinion. Also I have had lunch once in their restaurant and it was quite expensive.

Very friendly and helpful staff available 24/7. Able to speak multiple languages. Spacious and soundproof room. Airconditioning in each room is just priceless, very appreciated when it´s +35 outside! Mighty breakfest. Very good coffee. SPA dept in basement included in the price, available 12 hours a day. Bottom line: great place for vacation in Frantiskovy Lazne, warmly recommended. Will defenitely come back in the future!

Same food selection at breakfest every day. Not a problem if you will stay there less than a week, as there is good choice of the meals. A la carte dishes could be better. Lot better actually.

Overall we loved our stay at the Harvey Spa Hotel and look forward to returning! The room aesthetic was pleasant and the park view was lovely. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners at the hotel restaurant. The staff efficiently performed their duties and were very personable. This was our first visit and we are already looking forward to a return visit (and a longer stay).

A few small things...We missed having a kettle in our room. Also the pod machine was only stocked with enough pods for 1 day :( The bathroom layout in our Deluxe Double Room was inconvenient - one side of the entry has a toilet with a small sink. The shower and a larger sink are located on the other side of the entry.

Room was very clean, nice size of the room and the bedding was the highest quality so we slept very tight. Breakfast was delicious - all options there. Outstanding coffee, juices and food. Spa was really good and nice size. The staff was really helpful and friendly and very welcoming and easy to approach. I've never met this nice house staff.

I'd possibly add a bit more coffee capsules on the room.

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with good facilities. The buffet breakfast offered a nice variety of options and was a highlight of the stay. The staff were very polite and approachable.

Some tatty furniture, and the air conditioning was off throughout the hotel — mine clicked constantly, though I was offered another room. The biggest issue was the carpets: extremely old, worn, and unpleasant.

A large charming spa hotel in a beautiful park setting with excellent and friendly service. Slightly expensive but all in all reasonable price, excellent breakfast and good quality restaurant. Perfect beds. Well equipped and clean room. Despite the reception staff's limited language skills, they were still friendly and very helpful.

An excellent spacious room, soft towels, cleanliness. The staff were always smiling and ready to help with every small detail. We were super tired and felt that we reached a place of refuge where we could get all the rest we needed. The staff were even comfortable with checkout hours. I'm not sure what to focus on. The big big bath? The comfy robes? The beautiful view? This hotel just checked all the blocks. It's an ultimate hotel experience straight from Hollywood movies

Breakfast was just supermarket products, so it could be better. We didn't use the minibar at all but for some reason the checking showed we had a coke. On a positive note, this was all cleared quickly in our favour.

The room was very comfortable, especially the large bed. Air conditioning was great in such hot weather. We were on the 6th floor and had great views from the 5 windows in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and saunas were nice and clean and well managed. Breakfast was copious and well cooked with many choices of food and drink. Highly recommended.

Perhaps a longe with soft chairs, somewhere to sit and read.
