Room was perfect for a 12 hour layover.

The location could’ve been explained better.. you have to go through immigration and the hotel is outside of the gates which is unnecessary for a layover stay as you go through all the frustrating paperwork again via immigration when coming out then going back into your gate you need to go through security again the lines are just too long and not worth it. There are other hotels inside terminals where you dont need to go through immigration/security again like Sama sama hotel.

Really easy to find - took the KLIA Ekspres train from T1 for RM2 (which is about £0.35p), even got the ticket in the baggage claim area so avoided the queue at the station (and could use card so didn't need Malaysia money). The hotel is just at the exit from the train and up an elevator. Quick and friendly check-in. The room was bigger than I was expecting, with lovely modern bathroom with excellent walk-in shower, fluffy towels and all the amenities you might need. The bed was reaaaaallllly comfy with good quality linens and pillow choices - I slept like a log! Thought it would be strange not having a window but this made for a better sleep. The coffee shop (Coffee Bean/Tea Leaf) just opposite makes excellent coffee and breakfast bagels. Really easy to then check-in for the next flight at T2 the next day. Perfect for a stopover in between flights and would stay again.

we are on transit for about 9 hours, we booked a 12 hour room and it was a nice place for us to rest and get a shut eye. the bathroom was clean and the shower was nice but i think the shower need a door as the water seeped out of the shower and wet the floor of the toilet part of the bathroom. the bed were comfortable and tea and coffee amenities were great. we were also provided with toothbrushes ( and believe it or not hotels in seoul did not provide toothbrushes) we are repeat customers, i think we ve stayed here for more than 5 times and we always enjoyed our stay.

none at all - oh they gave us only one keycard. two would've been better

The location of this property is the best, located within KLIA2 and make transition from KLIA2 to KLIA is bliss. Furthermore, there are so many food options to choose from in KLIA2. No frail check-in and check-out.

The bin in the shared bathrooms could have been cleaned more frequently or used a closed bin because seeing the used tissues by others was a little revolting. Also, staff could have been lowering their voice in the corridor (even during the day) because some other travellers were sleeping/resting. Pricey.

Perfect Airport Hotel Stop for a Family with a Toddler (we checked in twice!) After a long international flight with our jetlagged toddler, we needed a convenient place to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey — and this airport hotel was exactly what we needed. The location couldn’t be more perfect: just a short walk from the terminal, making it easy even with tired little ones and luggage in tow. The check-in process was smooth and quick; first, my husband checked us in for a few hours, allowing us to rest and freshen up. The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a handy drinks station stocked with basic condiments — perfect for a quick cup of tea or coffee to recharge. After freshening up ourselves and letting our toddler have a much-needed nap, we felt significantly better prepared to continue traveling. The experience was so comfortable and seamless that when we returned later, I checked us in again without hesitation. It truly made a huge difference in our long travel days. Highly recommended for families needing a safe, clean, and convenient place to catch their breath between flights!

I don't have anything in particular to dislike. One thing to note: while the hotel does offer short-stay rates (starting from at least 3 hours), the pricing can feel a little steep if you’re only stopping by for a very brief rest. If you book a night just for a few hours, you’re effectively paying close to a full day's rate, although the dedicated short-stay option is slightly more affordable.

Really good location for an overnight stay if you need an early flight or even arriving late. The staff at check in were very polite and gave us all the information we needed. It’s literally inside the arrival area terminal two and if you need to get to terminal one a shuttle bus is just outside the entrance. Rooms were clean comfy bed and good shower towels prove fed and tea and coffee in the room. No windows but to be honest it’s somewhere to sleep and shower. Tv had plenty English channels. Lots eateries literally just outside the hotel. Definately stay again when needing to be at the airport early.

Nothing to dislike

The location is inside the airport, making it very convenient if you have a flight or layover. Lots of places to eat around, supermarket nearby, excellent wifi, great bed. It was quiet for the most part, and it seemed to have very good air quality.

I don't have many complaints. They were going to charge me more booking two more nights than what I could get on booking.com, lucky I checked (they were just applying the same rate from Saturday night, but would be better if they gave me the best rate automatically seeing I was already a guest). Rooms don't have a window, but that's to be expected when you are deep inside the airport. The place wasn't cheap, but given the location, it was worth it for me.

Excellent place for a long layover at KLIA2. I was there 9 hours so getting a room to sleep and shower etc was very useful. They are flexible on the check-in times and you can access all the various cafes etc in the KLIA2 terminal as the facility is located in the main terminal - which means you need to clear immigration when you arrive.

Clearing Immigration (and going back thru Immigration to get your next flight) does add some time but it is a quick process in KLIA2 and the extra flexibility in terms of places to eat etc in the main terminal area makes it worth it

We couldn't have made a better choice! Considering the time of our flight, we didn't want to go back to KL, and we luckily found a clean and very comfortable room at Aerotel: we had a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was working perfectly well, and we could benefit from the airport's facilities (plenty of shops and restaurants) and from quick check-in/check-out process. Definitely recommended.

Although it may not be the priority when you book a room inside the airport building, you must know there's no window/natural light.

The room is very clean and spacious. People at the front desk were accommodating and nice. Wifi speed was fantastic, with the highest download speed reaching 133MBPS. Great location for a long layover, right inside the shopping centre. Though breakfast is not provided, the amount of food options outside of the hotel made up for it. Oriental Kopi was just 1 floor above. There is also a 24 hour minimart just outside the hotel. Many options and places to eat. The hotel is very easy to get too especially with the transit train. For memory it costed 2MYR per ticket. The train ride was only 2 minutes.

The only thing I would tell people is that Aerotel should inform on their website or emails that the shopping centre cuts off hot water and the electricity for the aircon at 12am til 7am. It wasn't bad by any means, just something to let people know. But this may change in the future. Rest assured that the water still worked and that normal electricity still worked so it wasn't a big deal
