The room was clean.

The rubber non-slip shower mat was too large for the shower floor. It fit in, but it covered the drain hole, the water couldn't drain, and it flooded the floor. So it really was best not to use the mat and risk slipping because we didn't want to flood the bathroom floor again. It was slippery trying to mop up the water in the bathroom.

Great location, clean, comfortable and good heating in rooms. Room was nothing flash but was neat and tidy had everything you needed and bonus was a complimentary breakfast. Great value for the price we paid.

Breakfast was included in the tariff. It was well presented and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was the first built in historic Portland and its presentation has been kept in true 1840's style. Historic photographs adorn the walls along with historical maritime events. We would return to Mac's on our next regional visit.

It was nice and comfortable and the person that owned it was really nice. We will stay there again.

Car parking is very tight so you have to be very careful backing out

The breakfast was good, location in the pub was good. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful.

The light outside our room was on all night and it was extremely bright.

The only small negative was the noise of people banging their doors closed to lock them.
