The breakfast was good but I was expecting more for variety. Other locations had waffle makers, deviled eggs, milk cartons etc. THis one has had a good selection of food, but the fridge lacked variety and the pancakes from the machines were a little under cooked. The A/C in the room worked really well. The bed sheets were super soft and I loved how the pillows were labled to the type. Each one was labeled -FIRM, SOFT, or FEATHERED. very nice touch! They use Dove products and use bigger bottles to help keep the plastics cost down. As an enviromental conscious person myself, I really appreciated that! Nice big tv, decent sized microwave and mini fridge.

There was no vents in the bathroom to let the steam out. The hotel stapled 11 staples to the wallpaper by the door frame in the bathroom. Probably because of the years of moisture making the wallpaper peel back. The Pool was closed for the season but wasnt listed on their website. (last pool update was from 2022). The pools location was a bit confusing as well. Also it was a lot smaller than expected, so even though it was closed, we didnt miss much. One other issue, The bathroom tub is deeper than the bathroom floor. You dont expect the depth difference as you step out of the shower and I ended up tripping as stepping out. My mother ended up falling as she tried to get out. Shes ok, but it shocked us more than hurt us.

The receptionist when we checked in and the receptionist when we checked out, they both were so kind and so diligent and made our check in/out easy and quick. the lady serving the breakfast area was so sweet and attentive! They made our stay worth. We enjoyed our stay! The staff was a plus! Convenient distance to our Basketball Tournament venue.

The bed was making too much noise, room 307, the one next to the window, need to be tightened or replaced. And I know is not your fault but the heat took forever to warm the room it was really cold.

The room was comfortable, clean, well appointed, and even had plenty of places to charge all my electric gadgets. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including both people I interacted with at the front desk and the person managing the breakfast. The breakfast was great, about the best I've had at a chain motel, and the dining area was light and comfortable.

Not a deal breaker, but I wish there had been a recycling receptacle in the room.

It's a great location for exploring the Shenandoah Valley with its wineries and Civil War museums. Woodstock itself is historic and cute. The hotel has a self-service laundry for guests. Although we didn't use it, we would have if we'd known in advance. The breakfast was also better than most.

We stayed 4 nights and were a bit surprised at check-in to learn that maid service was not standard for extended stays. We could have requested it, but we decided it didn't matter that much.

Breakfast was very good. Food tasted very freshly made. The hotel was exceptionally clean. It shined. It was very quiet at night as if you were the only quests.

The bathroom was not compatible to someone with a handicap. There was only one grab bar in the tub/shower and it was in an awkward place. Did not look safe for me to use. The floor was also very cold in the bathroom. I didn’t feel safe walking in there.

It was very clean & the staff in the morning specifically was very nice. The breakfast was good too even though the first morning they didn’t have hot breakfast we still made do.

I got charged $20 for something and they didn’t tell me why. They also asked me a bunch of times why I was staying with them. I got there at 9pm after driving 10 hours the last thing I need to keep saying is why i’m there. I also asked for a receipt to see what I possibly could’ve gotten charged for and their immediate response was “booking.com will send you one” like why can’t they ?

It was not horrible, just not stellar. Relatively decent, relatively clean and staff relatively friendly. Location seemed safe. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

The elevator floor had a dried, sticky splatter and the hallway had clogs of dirt both of which stayed on the floor way too long. Our “non-smoking” room smelled of cigarette smoke upon entering and the room was uncomfortably cold upon entering. There were insufficient bath linens for the number of guests. The body soap ran out and the GFI electrical socket in the bathroom was not correctly installed.

I love the location. The staff was really kind and polite.

The baseball kids were literally running in the halls which could have been bad for an elderly person to encounter. This was poor parenting and not the fault of the hotel.

Property was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good as well.

There was no complaints from us about this property or our stay.

Excellent location for a stopover on a drive from MA to NC, clean room, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast time and selection.

The room had one of those pointless quarter-curtains that don’t move to cover the entire window, leaving only a sheer to block the light, which of course it can’t as it is sheer. I employed the Facebook hack of using a couple of hangers to clip the small heavy curtain to the sheer so at least part of the window was covered. They could easily install a blackout curtain behind the sheer, which would solve the problem together.
