Great check in guy who carried my bags up to the top floor, very lovely gesture. The rooms have been newly refreshed, quite comfortable and attractive, and despite missing shampoo and a bathtub with a good sized leak, it was a great room and I would stay here again. Unfortunately, I asked for a first floor room and even arrived before 6 PM when it seemed like it would be possible but no can do so that was a negative but again, I would stay there in the future mostly due to the young man at the front desk who was quite friendly and welcoming, plus the rooms were quite comfortable. Functional ice machine, yay!

The room should’ve had its full amenities, including shampoo. Also, they should tend to water leaks because that costs them money and is environmentally unsound so I reported it upon checking out and hoping it gets fixed.

I’ve stayed here a handful of times in the last 6 months or so when visiting Shenandoah or just passing through. Been in a different room almost every time and never had a bad experience. Rooms are always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Even when we get there at 1-2 am there’s someone at the desk to get us checked in and taken care of for the night. AC, fridge, and other basic amenities have always been in working condition you can tell they’ve tried to update where they can to keep this place in decent shape. Will likely be staying again next time were in the area or passing through for a night.

My last time staying we were put in a room with a door that didn’t properly lock when closed; when it was closed it could just be pushed back open from outside and wouldn’t latch. We didn’t realize until we were fully unpacked and settled in so we didn’t bother trying to switch rooms and just made sure the deadbolt and overhead latch were both set.

Gosh, it’s been easily 40 years since we have stayed at a Motel 6. What a pleasant surprise! Clean, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, quiet. We got a great nights sleep. Kevin at front desk was delightful! Polite, respectful, very good people skills. Motel was easy on/easy off highway. Bear in mind, this is an ABSOLUTELY NO FRILLS motel. No little shampoo/conditioner. No coffee maker. No breakfast. That being said, we would go back again!

This is not a complaint, simply an observation. Outside lights around property are incredibly bright. Security purposes perhaps? This makes for much light leaking into bedroom at night.

I liked the location, as it was close to food, Gas and all needed for thr next leg of my trip. Very affordable during peak time for booking in the fall, availability on short notice to reserve the room when others were sold out. The room was comfortable, ample lighting. The Clerk at the front desk was friendly, courteous, engaging in conversation.

The faucet in the bathroom was in need of repair, and moved around when turning the water off and on. ( this made it difficult to do) There was a blood stain on rhe underside of the comforter.. I saw 3 cockroaches, 2 on the floor and 1 on the wall near the coat rack. It appeared that a deep clean may be in order, as there was dust on tbe base boards and on shelfs below surface.

It's like your own little world here the Staff is super amazing, the sinary, the peace and quiet. Overlooked by beautiful mountains. Everyone stays to themselves. My experience of just passing through most guests is just as kind and friendly as the staff . Hands down the Best experience being the situation that got us here . I like it laid back clean.

Nothing to report on that end, I'm going to say cool place to chill. Relax with out getting bothered..

Very helpful reception staff - the room we were assigned first was not very clean and was smelly, but we were offered a different room which was okay. Location was okay - we had our own car to travel around.

A little noisy outside, but that makes sense since it is near highway. No option to open windows, so you have to use AC for air circulation. However, the AC unit was quite noisy and there was no option of light flow.

Great value and an excellent location—within walking distance to nearby stores, a park, and a bar. The room was comfortable and included a bathtub.

The room was connected to another via a locked internal door. Luckily, the clerk managed bookings with enough spacing to avoid disturbances. TV only worked with HDMI, so no regular channels.

The best part about the hotel was being able to bring my dogs. The location was perfect for all the attractions we were visiting. We did not have any issues.

The beds were super uncomfortable, and the bathroom could use a bit more work in the cleaning department.

Value for your money and easy on easy off the highway. There are food, gas and grocery store nearby. The staff is reliable and honest. My husband left his man purse in the room and we didn’t noticed it until the next day and we were 8 hrs away. We came back to get it and everything is still in the bag.

None. We only stayed for the night if we are staying longer then they can add a little bit of room amenities like Shampoo.

Loved that it was centrally located to the things we wanted to do (caverns and wineries). Very clean and staff was great! Great value for the money.

So close to the interstate that we could hear traffic most of the night. This really wasn’t an issue for us though.
