Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room was very clean, and the service rep booked our room right by the playground, noticing I had young boys. That was a nice surprise. I was very pleased with the breakfast. The area was clean, not overly crowded. Biscuits and gravy was excellent! There was a room with a little pool table and air hockey table. My kids and I spent some time in there and it was clean and fun. I was pleasantly surprised. As a single mom with not much money, booking budget friendly can be a hit or miss on cleanliness. I was very happy with this stay. It's very dog friendly so if you aren't a dog person, don't stay here. We met a bunch of wonderful fur babies (we happen to love dogs).

Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was nice. Staff person was lovely and gracious. I think we were the only people staying at the hotel. It is possible other guests left ahead of us as we didn't see any other cars except maybe an employee.

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. Not feeling well, just wanted to sleep and get back on the road home in the morning. Used room spray I traveled with and may have left it there since I didn't have it when we unpacked at home.

Ease of registration, ability to get accomodations we wanted. Quality of Hampton Inns - we used HIs a few times. Large cities and small, they're good.

At another Ham Inn, the oatmeal was thick and perfect to add brown sugar and nuts. Yum! Not so at at Lexington... it was runny and did not look appetizing. Breakfast was good - not the best I've eaten at Hamp Inns.

The staff was friendly, the gentleman in the lobby was very attentive when we went in the evening. The location of the hotel was very central. There was no hot water only for taking a shower in the evening, only cold water was flowing from the tap. That was the only problem.

Location, staff, entrance, and rooms were very nice. Enjoyed my stay but the bathroom could use some maintenance.

The facet in the bathroom was loose, toilet moved from side to side when sitting on it, shower drain slow and no hot water in the sink faucet.

Breakfast had a nice selection. The breakfast room was clean and had plenty of tables. The hotel room itself was clean and spacious.

As with most hotels, the mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Regarding breakfast: there is no cream cheese available for English Muffins.

Clean room, convenient location. A staff member called me a couple of days before to confirm my reservation at which time she pointed out that I had booked a smoking room. When I told her I made a mistake, she switched me to a non smoking room. They also had a nice breakfast bar. If you have the time be sure to visit the New Market Battlefield Military Museum, a great collection.

The room refrigerator was a bit small but since I was only staying one night it wasn't a problem.

It was in a good location, nice room, our light between beds wasn’t working and the nice maintenance guy fixed it right away for us!

Only thing we didn’t like was the beds, the mattress was too hard and hurt our backs!

Very clean room and facility, breakfast was awesome with plenty of food and choices. Breakfast attendants were very friendly and helpful. Check-in / check-out was quick and easy. Thank You

For my taste, bed was a little too firm, just a personal preference.

Room extremely COLD upon our arrival. HVAC system DID work to bring Room up from 50 to high 60's in the time we spent there.
