Great location... right off 81 and tons of restaurants and all kinds stores immediately around the hotel. Some in walking distance. No indoor pool only outside. Very nice and well kept hotel with a nice little courtyard with a few benches to relax, in nice weather. Their breakfast is basic. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay here again. Ample parking even some area for vehicles with trailers.

If the breakfast had oatmeal made verses packet oatmeal, that would be great. The eggs look like a powder mix type. For the price, I understand the breakfast will be basic and appreciated that it is included.

Breakfast was good, hot food, not just cereal, yogurt and fruit like a lot of continental breakfast have. Front desk staff was excellent and extremely friendly. We stayed 3 nights for my son’s baseball tournament. The location is fantastic. Lots to do in the area. The place is clean for the age of the hotel and considering it is pet friendly. I would say I don’t really have any real “complaints” more suggestions.

Since you asked, The pool should definitely be open later than 9pm. Especially since it’s outside. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers for guest use. Rooms could use some updating but for the price it was acceptable. Rooms are small. Beds are doubles NOT QUEENS, but it does clearly state that in the listing description, but the beds are tolerable. Housekeeping forgot to bring towels when asked they were out. She wrote it down but never returned with them, could’ve been because I had my DND door hanger on, but could’ve checked back or left them outside the door like they did for other room, not having elevators was not really that big of a deal if you are handicap you could request a bottom floor room. Overall good find.

All of the staff were very nice and welcoming! They were very flexible when I wanted to extend my stay for an extra night and me wanting to be in the same room. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The halls were very quiet and I felt safe, which was important since I was a solo traveler. I will definitely be choosing to stay here again when I visit Harrisonburg in October!

Breakfast was very complete. There were many options: scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereal bar, fruits, and coffee and tea, juice snd water. It was well prepared and tended.

I can’t think if anything that could have been better. We arrived in the middle of the night, checked in easily, bought ice cream from the hotel store, used the baggage trolley to take our luggage to the room.

Breakfast room was lovely, sunny and clean. Offerings were decent! Beds were comfy and pillows were great.

Worst part of the room was our bathroom. Our bathroom fan didn't work and resulted in lot of moisture after 1 shower and we needed 4 showers. The hair dryer also was not working. There is a lack of towel bars/storage in bathroom. Everything else in the room was great.

Great location as you are able to walk to many restaurants for supper. Friendly staff, comfy bed and spacious room. The shower had great pressure and we appreciated the non slip surface in the tub and the Hand rails. It was also very quiet. Our room looked into the courtyard. Breakfast was good. Many of the normal types of food but the sliced sausage was great. Several flavors of yogurt too. Also apples were available.

Wish hotels would have taller toilets.

The location was great as a stopover on a road trip. 2 minutes from the interstate and lots of dining option nearby. The outdoor pool was great for cooling off and burning some energy after spending most of the day in the car. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and behind to make sure I was happy with everything. They had a few hot options for breakfast which was convenient. They selection was not huge but the fresh waffle maker was a hit for my family.

The room had a slight stale smell like someone had been smoking and an effort had been made to get rid of the smell. I’m sure the staff would have moved me to another room if I had asked, but it didn’t bother me enough to go through the trouble of moving rooms.

Easy in and out with exceptional security. Large grassy area to walk dogs, which was clean. Easily accessible to a variety of places to eat. Large parking lot.

Shows a little wear and tare: window curtain needs repair--the wand and curtain were detached at one end. Shower head makes a whistling noise.

The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The TV was a nice size. The breakfast was decent not great. Staff was very nice.

I forgot my pillow in the room. When I called they did have it and it was labeled with my name and room number. They had a service where you can have your item shipped to you. Sounded great until you fill out the form and they want to charge 71.00 to send. I ship items all the time and the most with packaging should be $30 and that's even high.

What I like most is that I left my AirPods in my room. They called me hours later we checked out to let me know so I was able to go back and get them. So thankful for that. Stayed there several times. Staff is nice, especially Christian who I’ve interacted with several times now. Convenient to JMU and won’t break the bank!
