Staff was extremely friendly, amenities were lovely, and everything was clean.

The room we were assigned, the door was hard to open, which I did mention to the front desk at checkout since we only stayed two nights. We would have to put our whole body into it to get the door unstuck to open from the outside, from the inside I would have to use both hands and pull back with my entire body weight (190 pounds) just to get it to open. Hopefully, this will be fixed before a new person is assigned to the room.

We really loved the hotel and amenities. Though, we could not park one of our vehicles due to the incline and stability of the entrance. If you have any pull behind or moving truck, you will not be able to stay. Luckily the Hampton Inn was kind enough to let us park our 20ft Uhaul in their parking lot.

It was clean, it was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was not a hotel feel at all, it reminded me of a lowes hotel in downtown philly, it was well decorated which gave more of a homey feel and not a hotel feel, staff was extremely helpful, and kind!! Even the guests there were all really nice and friendly!! I wish we had more time to stay, we had to drive 7.5hrs through tn today and i really dont like the hotel we are in now!! But this one was absolutely acceptional!!!!

That there was only 1 light (main) in the room, 1 switch to turn on the entrance light but no other light besides the sconces next to the bed, thay was only thing i did not like, because the room was big, and we could not see other then at the door bc we arrived so late lol!

I used trivago to search for a hotel that met our needs. I came up with this one. Then the reservation was made through “booking.com”. Pets were allowed but there was no price quoted. When I checked in, I was told it would be $100. I thought I checked all the boxes for discounts when I registered but I did not get the AARP discount because I did not show my card at check in. After checkout I was told it was too late to change the rate.

Very nice modern location. Lobby/dining area was beautiful. Many shops close by for leuisure. Staff was great.

Found a small caterpillar in the sheets. View isn't as nice if you are placed looking away from the town. Breakfast was mediocre after claiming it was superb and was also very crowded. Our room was directly under the venue on the top floor, so the sounds of thunder thighs could be heard from the evening till late night. Entry to Hyatt is at an ungodly angle. If you have a modified car, you can forget about the entry. Your best bet is to enter from Holiday Inn and route through the parking lot.

Cleanliness, roof top bar, room was nice and clean. Great location.

How it was a bit confusing trying to get the property. Entrance location was weird. Staff gave us the run around about batteries to the television because it wasn’t working. One guy said maintenance would come so we waited. No show. Didn’t understand why maintenance had to deliver batteries. Turns out they didn’t Because when we returned after being out for several hours, the same guy brought batteries up to our room within minutes.

Overall our stay was great! It was nice to have the kids swim at the pool while my husband and I enjoyed a drink at the bar. I do want to point and recognize William! I’m not what his position is but he was doing it all. Running towels to the pool, bringing food to the bar, answering questions, everything! I asked him if you all had a washer and dryer, he gave me great instructions and even got me some laundry detergent! We were in town for a baseball tournament so we had some nasty clothes to wash up! He is a fantastic employee with such great customer service. As a General Manger myself I would hire him in a heart beat! We are coming back stay in May, we were so impressed I booked right at the bar for our next trip.

One of our beds was extremely squeaky! Our son slept in it and has an active sleeper it woke us up all night.

The hotel is very nice, location is the best and the amenities are very nice. Swimming pool, the food at the restaurant on the roof top was really good and the atmosphere amazing. The bar at the reception really good as well. The housekeeping staff really helpful and nice.

However the acoustic in the room is not good. I could hear the steps of children running on the floor above us and it was so annoying. There was also dogs left by themselves in the room barking the entire day. I have managed 5 stars hotels for over 15 years and one of the first things I check in a bedroom is the cleanliness and the baseboards in the bedroom and bathroom were filthy with so dog hair and accumulated dust. Behind toilet as well and corners at the bathroom needs scrubbing. They should start the year doing a general cleaning in the bedrooms.

Friendly staff - good location, good breakfast and lots of amenities. We were more than pleased how well the guests were treated. Fast elevators, good, appointed rooms and a delicious breakfast. Plus the roof top restaurant was a value added if you didn't want to leave the property for dinner.

It was loud the first night - both in the hall and above. A JMU van seemed to arrive every 30-40 minutes. Did not have that problem at all the second night - guess there was just a lot going on with JMU festivities on Friday.

Breakfast was good. As someone who was not looking for a “big” breakfast, it met our needs. Good selection of food. Enjoyed the fifth floor bar/ tavern. Beautiful views. Great outdoor seating. Your bartender was awesome 😊 Sat up there enjoying a drink and playing a little cards. We chose this hotel because we had shared the prior 3 days at the Hyatt Place in Nashville and had an excellent stay there also

Nothing. Great stay. Everyone and everything was great so there was nothing we didn’t like.
