After enjoying our stay on our way north, we stayed at the Village Inn again on our return trip home. Again our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We used the workout room which has all the equipment we needed- the only downside is that the ceiling is too low to lift weights overhead while standing. The breakfast buffet was ample once again, with options suiting a meat eater and a vegetarian. Great baked oatmeal!

this time I had a balcony and the weather was perfect for the balcony. they provide adequate towels, soap, shower caps, lotion, shampoo. when I leave and come back, the room is clean and things are refilled. pricing is excellent compared to the nearby hotels and accommodations that the village inn provides.

when I take a shower, there is a musky smell from the shower mat that you put in the bathtub. when I did get snacks, they were stale. sometimes they take my AAA discount, and other times they say I am not qualified, so I do not understand the process. I wish they had pet free rooms that you would pay for one bed instead of two, but the price is still pretty good. I have an allergy to cats and dogs, and I usually have to take a Benadryl when I am in a room that had pets.

Gorgeous facilities; felt like in a beautiful community, not motel. There are mini golf, swimming pool, children’s playground and grill areas. The place was really nice with comfortable bed and clean room.

Gorgeous green fields around the hotel was beautiful, but came with ticks…I wish the hotel set up a warning signs so guests could check themselves when they were outdoors around the hotel. We had 2 ticks on us just walk around. Thank goodness we have spotted them!

I did not have the breakfast but I had the coffee which was good. The smell of the breakfast foods was aromatic. The heat and air worked well compared to my previous stay. Great value. The first night I was there, I smelled a slight urine smell in the right corner of the bathroom sink, but the next day when the cleaners came, they cleaned and the odor was no longer there.

Urine smell, but it got resolved. I didn't realize that this was a pet friendly facility, and I have allergies to cats and some dogs, and my feet broke out in hives. I think it is great that it is a pet friendly facility, but unfortunately I need a room that did not have pets. Due to the hives, I had a hard time sleeping the first night.

One of the unexpected highlights was the well-maintained grounds—perfect for a relaxing stroll with my dog. Best dog-friendly spot we've found in the area! The quiet surroundings were a refreshing change from typical highway hotels, and catching both sunrise & sunset from the property was an added bonus. Convenience & comfort all in one. Parking right at my door made coming and going a breeze, and the hotel’s location strikes the perfect balance—easy access with a remote feel. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape or a longer stay, this is the perfect home base. It’s clear this family pours their heart into every detail, making this hotel something truly special. I loved it so much—I’ve already booked my return!

Great value, given the cost of the room. Spacious, comfortable rooms, very clean and remarkably quiet. I was pleasantly surprised that the location was as quiet as it was, given the distance away from I81. The location is very convenient to food and gas, as well as having easy access to I81. I didn't eat lunch, but the buffet breakfast was quite affordable for the variety of food presented.

Nothing was bad or that I didn't like. But, I'd like to visit again when I can enjoy the outdoor facilities that The Village Inn has in place.

Check in was a breeze, I wish I remembered the pleasant young lady's name but I was tired from travelling. I was in for one night only but I was lucky enough to use the pool which was BIG, clean and very refreshing. There was a group of about 12 adults poolside including a couple tweens having dinner (pizza & some dishes) but I had the pool to myself. The room itself I can only describe as COZY. I felt insulated in a good way. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom & basin set up was very accommodating especially for a lone traveler. I felt this was a very complete set-up and not just the bare bones hotel room. A/C was perfect. The location was also a bit "insulated" in that it is along a country road away from any congested business areas. A short car ride brought me to the more bustling area for a grocery and some restaurant choices. This is a great little area.

Nothing not to like or at least I did not stay long enough to discover anything like that.

I am usually not interested in accommodations that have a door directly to the outside, but this one is unexpectedly nice. We scored a room on the end, which offered a little more quiet and an extra window. There was a loveseat and a table tall enough for eating, a microwave and a nice oversized dorm fridge. Everything was very clean and tastefully appointed, and the bed was really comfortable.

The only thing missing was a mountain view!

Okay, a simple answer here = everything! I drive cross country twice a year and have stayed at Village Inn every year for the past five years. Each time before I come I hope the experience will continue to be positive and I have never been disappointed.

Room had everything I needed for my stay. I really appreciate parking in front of my room since I was traveling alone. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great! A grip bar would have been nice for getting in and out of the tub, but I managed okay.

The air conditioner worked great. However, it blew right at the side of my face when sitting on the sofa and in my face when lying in bed. It was really hot during my stay so I needed the air on. Keeping the temp moderate and the fan low helped.
