The Route 11 Diner food was great (so much better than fast food!) with a choice of fresh baked pies and desserts, and staff always friendly. The room was better than expected, very clean and updated. We also loved the mountain view.

The exterior could use some maintenance to improve curb appeal. Some broken blinds and an unpainted door sadly, almost scared us away, but don't reflect the condition of the room on the inside.

The room was comfortable and in a convenient location to the fairgrounds. We went to the fair on the last night to see For King and Country. We like the fact that the hotel wasn't directly by the fairgrounds. There was no traffic noise. It was only about 2 or so miles down the road and away from the bulk of the traffic. The price was good. The staff was friendly. We would stay there again if we go back to the fair next year.

We were told that we wouldn't be getting any new towels or sheets on the second day, since we weren't staying that long. We hung the towels over the shower curtain after taking a shower the first evening. The towels were still damp when we showered in the early afternoon on the second day . I guess we could have gone to the lobby and asked for new towels. It wasn't a big deal, just a little annoying. The bathroom sink hot water faucet was put on backwards so that it turned to the right instead of the left to get the stream of water to come out. Again, no big deal, but the facility could use some updating. It was clean, so that's what mattered the most.

Easy access to I 81. Friendly front desk staff. More than willing to help you. Comfortable beds with four pillows. Microwave and refrigerator a plus. Plenty of parking. Very convenient to restaurants and gas stations. Would stay there again.

Bathroom needs updated. Shower drips, caulking coming off the shower hand rest,and the curtain had a small amount of an unidentifiable black substance on it. Okay Carpet by the front door needs clean. Spilled a cup of water on the carpet coming in the room at the door. When I tried to clean it up, the towel was no longer white but brown. I rinsed it out the best I could and got the towel back to a cream color. Other than these minor issues I would stay there again.

Nothing fancy but clean and a good value. I smoke and it’s extremely rare these days to have that option. when it’s so cold outside and I’m alone it was nice to be able to end the long day with a glass of wine and a smoke without having to go outside. This little town really knows how to deck the halls with lights everywhere- very charming place with every convenience nearby.

There were a few burn holes in the bed spread but hey - it was a smoking room so I wasn’t complaining.

Windows opened & received smoking room as booked. Good bed. Restaurant next door with good food & discount for motel guests.

Several years ago we found this gem and have no reason to stop. They give us a well run business from getting to leaving!

close to I-81 and many food choices

could not figure how to turn the shower to “On”. the tube worked fine but there seemed to be no switch to change to shower mode in our room.
