Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated hotel and rooms. Easy, free parking and strong WiFi. The mattress was super comfortable and the shower was spacious with shampoo and body wash provided. Bright, comfortable space within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, and the Hawksbill Creek Walking Trail. This is very minor, but the bed pillows were bulky, so flat pillow fans may have some adjusting for sleep.

Interesting decor, the main bed was comfortable, bathroom was fine, hotel was quiet despite being in a central location in Luray.

We had a two-room suite with a full kitchen (kitchen unnecessary to our one-night stay). The fold out bed in the second room was barely comfortable for my daughter, while I slept in the main bed. The cost seemed high for a hotel in a small town in Virginia, but perhaps that was because of the fall season and central location. Not much view from the windows.

This is not a standard hotel. There was no staff and we saw not one other person when we were there and we LOVED it. The rooms are stunning, as are the common areas. The location is great too, within walking distance of the Hawksbill Greenway, a beautiful walking/biking path and restaurants and shops. It was the perfect place to stay for our impromptu trip to Shenandoah National Park. Parking was convenient too. We parked right outside our door.

The only complaint was the walls are thin and there was a bit too much noise.

Love the scent when you walk into the hotel, my kids loved the muffins and cookies in the morning, beds were comfy, rooms had everything we needed, and I loved the simplicity of the self check in.

Style, space, well organised

The sink plug was stuck in (plug fitting not maintained) and when I used my fingers to release the water in sink, the base of plug fitting was yucky. You have to put card on door to get room cleaned but I noticed too late.

Living room lobby was great. My brother who couldn't afford the place opted stayed with us in the living room lobby as long as possible. Excellent vibe, reminiscent of old USA.

Check-in process was extremely tough. Had to wait an hour.

TV channels were limited and we would have preferred to have had the TV in the bedroom. Also room was too cold at night.

Luxurious property with spacious rooms. Loved the snacks provided in the common area. Also, the smell of the hotel was wonderful!

The bed was a bit hard, but that’s just a personal preference.

Everything was lovely. The food was perfect! We had to change our reservation at the last minute due to a family emergency and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating!

Things were just wonderful. Thus, I do not have anything to discuss here.

Beautiful old building in the perfect location. The decor was lovely and suited the space. Recommend Room 9 The Tucker which had a small outside sitting area. The main hotel area was gorgeous. Definitely take the time to check it out.

A TV in the bedroom would have been nice.
