The property is located in a very nice location near Karnak and Luxor temples.Hilton hotel is nearby.The living room is spacious with nice decorative pieces to give an Egyptian vibe.It has a sofa,chairs ,a TV ,AC and a dining table.The washroom and toilet is huge with a big bathtub,very neat and clean with hot and cold running water and toiletries are provided.The kitchen is well equipped with everything for one’s cooking and there is a refrigerator to store things.The bedroom is nice with air conditioning,a big standing mirror,dressing table and a wardrobe.The sheets and pillows are clean and fresh towels are provided. They will take care of your tours in Luxor and nearby.

The apartment was fine, big and vey comfortable, collected from the airport and first night was fine, quiet, shop across the road, and the owners and staff were very helpful, if you needed anything they would do it. The location is good and bad, out in the street it is busy and people and taxis always bothered us way too much, but thats all over Luxor not just here. If it wasn’t for the other guests I would rate it 10 for sure.

Second night unfortunately I think that there were guests in the apartment below and was a lot of shouting and screaming, with that I didn’t sleep all night. The managers said he would come but I stopped him as it went quiet but I regretted it when it all started up again. I don’t see as their fault but it was their other guests making the noise.

The accommodation is equipped with kitchen utensils and washing machines, making it convenient to stay. Our couple had a balloon tour through the host of the apartment, and we were able to tour at a good price. Even though it was early in the morning, the host got up and showed us the pick-up car. We are very satisfied in staying this place.

The property was spacious and clean. Ahmed, the host was kind and very responsive when we had a problem with the wifi connection and a plumbing issue. He met us at the bus station when we arrived. The property was located only a 20 minute walk from Karnak Temple complex. We were able to wash all of our clothing in the available washer after weeks of travel.

Location was confusing for some of our transportation from the flat. Got stuck outside for two hours after checking out.

The Karnak Flats was an amazing place to stay while visiting Luxor. I'm not sure why this place is rated 3 stars when it should be 5. The host was amazing and kind. The apartment was spacious, clean, with AC in all rooms, a washing machine, and a large clean bathroom with a tub. It's near local markets and restaurants, within walking distance to the Karnak temples and the Nile river. The beds were comfortable, with clean sheets, nice furniture, and a large TV to wind down after a day of tours. Get the Careem app before you go to easily explore Luxor. The balloon ride is a must, and the host can set it up for you, which is very inexpensive for the experience. The host was also flexible with our check-in and check-out times, depending on bookings. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Luxor.

Amazing apartment, very spacious, comfortable and super clean! We were welcomed by Mr Ahmed and he was very kind to us and towards our needs. We had a big bottle of water, a basket of fruits and coffee and tea also there for us, which is always a plus! The apartment is located in a quiet street in Karnak, but close enough to a main street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. That same street leads to the majestic Karnak Temple after a 15min walk which is great. Downtown Luxor can also be reached by walking or by getting a taxi (don't forget to negotiate a good price, even just for fun!) Perfect for independent travelers who really want to get to know places and it's people. I truly recommend this place.

It was an ideal location for us to explore Luxor and the surroundings. The apartment looks exactly like in the photos. Lots of shops and eateries nearby as well. All our requests for excursions and sightseeing trips were arranged for a reasonable price. Best part is the communication after your booking. Ramadan, the owner, was constantly in touch with us planning everything and checking in on us to make sure everything is going according to plan. The caretaker, Ahmed, was our go to person during our stay in the flats and he made sure we had a great stay at the flats. Our tour coordinator,Mohamed, ensured that all our visits went smoothly. I'd highly recommend this place as it is great value for money.

This apartment was a great find, exceeding my expectations and being excellent! Ahmad, my host, was helpful from the first contact to the last moment when I left Luxor. He waited for me at the bus station upon my arrival, took me to the apartment, offered a welcome drink, completed my check-in, and explained everything about the apartment and the surrounding area, including potential tours. The apartment is in a simple neighborhood, just meters away from the Hilton Hotel, and there are several local mini-markets where I could buy everything I needed. Ahmad helped me get an idea of prices since in Egypt, many things require negotiation. From the apartment, it's possible to walk to the Karnak Temple (15 minutes) and also Luxor Temple (50 minutes). Additionally, it's convenient to arrange tours that pick you up at the doorstep. The apartment itself is much more beautiful in person, and everything was very clean! I was able to use the Wi-Fi for work, and when one connection faltered, I could switch to another.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and very well arranged apartment, not congested with stuffs, big bathroom with good ventilation; warm water was always available, which was great after long hours spent outside. Apartment has everything guests need to feel relaxed, kitchen is well equipped and functional, lot of working area. Mattresses are firm and we all slept well, all 3 AC units worked superb. We found location of an apartment very good (unlike some comments here), because there are lot of shops just around the corner that offers all food guests would need, very convenient actually. And on top of all, host Mr. Ahmed was always available, super nice, he made us feel protected and safe, provided us with all necessary information and advices, and arranged drivers for sightseeing tours. Special thank to Mr. Ramadan for accurate and straightforward communication, exact tour prices, no surprise with those, everything was just as we agreed few months before. All in all, 5 great days spent in Luxor thanks to kindness and hospitality of both Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Ramadan. We are very grateful, thank you for everything!

I think this was my best accommodation choice during my entire trip to Egypt. The hotel manager is extremely friendly, kind, and thoughtful. he is supportive and ready to help us at any time. The room is clean, super spacious, like a house with full amenities. In addition, the furniture in the house is also extremely carefully selected, very beautiful and impressive. You will have a completely relaxing space when staying here. My wife and I had 2 cooking sessions at home with all the tools available in the kitchen. It was also an extremely interesting experience.
