Incredible hotel that puts you right in the spirit of northern Finland.The lighting, the decoration of the rooms, even the music you listen to when you first enter them, the flavours at breakfast, everything is impeccable. It is located in the center of the city and its market, with many options nearby for food and drink, very close to the train station and also to a bus stop and next to a breathetaking park ( one of the most beautiful, at least for me , parks I have ever been to). Excellent breakfast including all the basics, but also special nordic flavours, which I tried for the first time and was impressed, and a generous supply of coffee, On the plus side also the kind staff. the cleanliness and the absolute tranquillity that the hotel offers.

I found nothing negative.I had a great time there.

The Location is very good. It's about 5 min to the main street of Oulo. The parking possibility it's 3 minutes away. Thanks to the staff we could find it very easily. The Room was spacious with a view on the church. If you want to take a bus, the station is right in front of the Hotel.

The hotel offered the option to visit a Gym (Fressi) for an extra cost in our opinion this could be included (cost 5 euro per person for 1x training). The breakfast area seemed very big but the buffet was very in the end of the room and it got crowded. The hotel was doing some kind of building expansion which you could see from the breakfast area. So the atmosphere wasn't so cozy like the rest of the entrance of the Hotel Lobby.

The hotel meets the expectations of the Lapland Hotels general concept and has a good location very near to the city center of Oulu and next to the wonderful park area. We love this location especially because of traveling with dogs. The hotel building itself is a little bit out of date, the Comfort room has window (and balcony) to the indoor atrium inside the building. It's not actually terrible, maybe just somewhat weird. Otherwise the room is very nice and bathroom updated. Extra points to the food and restaurant staff, it is way better than your typical hotel restaurant. More extra points for pet friendliness, dogs are also welcome at the restaurant.

Maybe feels a little bit overpriced for the room quality, but in the other hand it is including a very rich and delicious breakfast.

Modern hotel with a great Lapland theme and decor (but not tacky). Comfortable room, amazing breakfast (one of the absolute best anywhere!), super friendly staff. Great location in Oulu city centre right next to the Hupisaaret park. We fully recommend!

Room was in the corner of an inner atrium which made it ever so slightly dark. But at the same time it remained cool in the summer heat..:)

Exceptional vegan options for breakfast. In addition to the expected yoghurts and plant-based milks, they had vegan cheese, soy cuts, beetroot hummus, very nice fried potato and mushroom dish, and they even prepare a vegan omelette on request. Don't know if it's standard or if it helped that I mentioned the special diet during booking. Restaurant staff makes sure you start your day with a good mood. Quiet, cozy, clean, well-maintained interior.

Amazing hotel. Very distinct flair thanks to the modern design with unique local elements of Scandinavian nature. Very comfortable bed, spacious, stylish room, pool, sauna. The staff was very nice and committed. I really enjoyed the small conversations with them. Breakfast was not only rich and delicious, it was also kind of special as it consisted of many local ingredients and dishes. Much more than the usual stuff. The location was very good: central, close to the main sights, within walking distance from the central station. Airport bus stops in front of the hotel.

Excellent location, everything to see in Oulu is within walking distance. Good breakfast. There was even cook making omelettes by order. Dinner at restaurant was excellent. Good food with Lapland twists. Friendly and helpful staff. There´s also spa with sauna and swimming pool. That´s actually why we chose this hotel. There´s also two good beaches with easy access. Nallikari by seaside that´s accessible by bus and Tuira beach by river, within walking distance through park and over the dam.

Occasionally there wasn´t enough towels at spa. Had to fetch towels from our room. It´s not a big deal, but if towel´s are provided, staff should make sure that there´s enough of them. Lounge music was bit monotonous. Some kind of modernized versions of Lapland´s joiku songs. I´m into folk metal and archaic pagan music so I actually liked it, but there could be more variation, as joiku´s are probably not every body´s cup of tea.

Everything! The friendly staff, the room with the sauna, the Christmas Eve buffet, the Christmas Day surprise menu - the whole atmosphere is fantastic. Not on the cheap side, obviously, you have to save up for it - but it's absolutely worth it! After 2018 this was our second stay in Lapland Hotels Oulu, and I am quite sure it wasn't our last one ... thank you all for a lovely holiday! You are all amazing!

There was nothing we didn't like - even the weather was on our side: White Christmas and a real Winter Wonderland

Great hotel with a real ´Lapland´ feel to it. lots of attention to detail and the food served in the restaurant is also of a very high standard. I liked the fact that they have a tie in with a local gym around the corner which makes it much more useful than the standard hotel gyms. my only niggle is that for a 4 star hotel, the rooms and bathroom are a tad on the small size.

Decor is amazing, staff welcomed us and the rooms were very good. The restaurant although expensive represents the best of Lapland cuisine… gorgeous presentation and the little extras make the meal. Have the reindeer.

A little understaffed in the restaurant they need a dedicated bar attendant.
