Everything the location, staff, cleanliness , the hotel was fantastic.

The only thing I could criticise is the beds were quite hard and the pool with a sliding roof with only a small space to sunbathe other than getting a lift to the terrace that I or nobody else seemed to use. The hotel would be much better with a traditional pool surrounded by sun beds. In saying that I knew that when I booked and it was only four nights and we went to La Cinta beach which was a twenty minute walk and was really nice albeit very busy.

Set in a quieter neighbourhood, Hotel Bonsai is not a frilly or luxurious hotel, it’s true to its description and we loved it. It had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff were so friendly, polite and helpful (thank you Roberta and Pablo). The hotel really is only a 5 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants (our favourite was the fabulous fresh cooked food at “Flamingo”) and 15 minute walk to the stunning La Cinta beach. Would definitely return.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean room and bathroom. Rooms are spacious enough, bed was comfortable. We liked the possibility of breakfast in a beautiful terrace. Breakfast was good.

Our bathroom had pretty small window so there was not much air in it and not much light. Shower cabin was quite small too. But all in all, it was clean and good value for money. As someone who is very very afraid of the dogs and because we have a small child, I didn't like that really big German shepherd was allowed to walk within and around hotel (on the hotel terrace) without beeing on dog leash.

Great location near the city center and to the bus stop for the beach bus. Great service by the front desk, always someone there to greet you. Breakfast was basic but good enough for me. Swimming pool was better than expected, I actually enjoyed the shade! Ac was also very strong in the rooms.

Although the AC was very strong which is good in the July heat. It would be better if we could control it (e.g turn it off at night) as it gets a bit dry. Room was also a bit dusty causing stuffy nose

Perfectly located just a few hundred meters from San Teodoro city. Close to restaurants and supermarket and within walking distance to beach bus-station. Very clean hotel, friendly staff who helped us rent a car and also arrange transfer to the airport. Really good breakfast with plenty of options and several yummy croissants. Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bonsai and would recommend it!

Some would probably say that the beds and pillows are bit hard, but we slept really good!

The location of this Hotel is SUPREME, right in the heart of San Teodoro and a stone throw away from local Restaurants and a supermarket. A 20min walk to the nearest beach is also handy

The beds are massively uncomfortable, The walls are paper thin.. we were woken up constantly by our neighbours above us going to toilet you can hear EVERYTHING! Gym was shut for all 5 days No AIRCONDITIONING

The ladies on reception were absolutely lovely. I fell in love with Laura! The room had a lot of character and a balcony with a view. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is literally three minutes walk from the best restaurants in the town, shops etc

I suppose you could say that it's a bit of a walk to the beach, but in reality, 10 minutes is not that bad is it? And the beach is stunning!!

Really beautiful little family operated hotel, great location and very easy walking distance into dining areas and La Cinta beach. Plenty of free off street parking. Welcoming and friendly staff, and fresh high quality breakfast each morning!

Honestly nothing, I’d stay again next time

Very welcoming, friendly staff. Exceptionally clean property and bedrooms. Substantial breakfast on offer. Location 10/10, 3 min walk to main centre and 20min walk to beach, in quiet location.

The mattress needed changing in room 205, it was very expensive.

The fantastic breakfast, especially the freshly baked croissants 🥐 The beds were so comfy, lovely clean room. Roof terrace was amazing for views, and so spacious! Owners and staff were just so lovely! Will definitely stay here again as it was so nice!!!!
