Very relaxing! The food was particularly good (except the reheated patacones -- don't know why they can't cook these freshly). Try the fresco de pitahaya and the sopa de mariscos (though, not necessarily together)!

The beach is not a sandy beach for walking on, rather it is comprised of lots of shells and a few stones, which make going barefoot less than desirable. Bring some water shoes and you'll be fine.

Very sweet, small hotel where we stayed briefly en route between San Jose and Guanacaste, but would be fine for a longer stay. Very nice hotel grounds leading down to private beach. Plenty of loungers, tables and chairs etc. Varied food menu and what we had was good quality. Nice pool area, friendly and efficient staff. We were very happy there and happy to recommend it.

We appreciated a lot the swimming pool, the natural environment (a lot of plants, flowers...) , nice rooms, good breakfast, very friendly and professional team, special thanks to Rodrigo..Luis..Alejandro.. and Daniela from rest La cangreja (great team!)

We could not do so many activities with the hotel as expected, not easy or not able to organise with them (as paddle, island visit unless i pay for min 4 people and we were only 2 ...etc) this should be improved. It is true that one of the objectives is to get disconnected but at the end of the day, we need sometimes to have a tv to watch a film for example (it is the customer who decides how much he/she wants to get connected)...

The hotel is in grounds with direct access to the beach, with no other hotels in vicinity, so beach is not crowded. The situation is ideal for people, like us, taking the ferry to Punterenas. The ferry terminal is only about 500m away. The grounds were really great, with pools and plenty of birds and wildlife. The staff were very friendly. I would have liked to stay a few nights more.

The room was ok but but not special. It was ok for the price and was clean and comfortable. The patio was good but we did not like that people accessing their rooms had to pass directly in front of our room and patio, it did not give much privacy. Food was not very good, and wine both pricey and not great.

OPacifico is a well maintained property / gardens are beautiful and it is very peaceful on the bay.

It was right on the main road so you can hear the cars, trucks and motorcycles. It’s not as disruptive as other places since everyone is maintaining a fast speed - but you can hear them from your room. The prices are high but it is a beautiful property.

Beautiful place for relaxing. Nice private beach, amazing, huge garden. Everything well taken care of. The staff (Daniela and all the rest of the employees) are super friendly and helpful. Fantastic restaurant. Made two great, interesting tours with guide Alejandro. Everything highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent, food was really good for lunch and dinner too, nice quiet beach with boardwalk and hammocks. Well maintained, clean, friendly, idyllic. Pool fine too, water bit warm in July.

It’s a very quiet part of Costa Rica, good to explore yet expect very local experiences and not too much tourism.

Excellent location, excellent rooms, excellent restaurant and extremely convenient! Quiet place, perfect for just stay and rest, very good as a hub center to go and do a hiking tour for the near islands or a bioluminescent tour at night or go to near places like Curu.

the best thing in my opinion: the lying chair get a cover. the space for the suitcases in the room (we had 3 large ones), the pool is fantastic and big, the environment is very well maintained, breakfast was delicious and enough, kitchen/food overall is great and delicious

its not only this hotel; prices for food and drinks are so high! we would have enjoyed more drinks if the prices would be not so high. But its our experience in every hotel. I didnt really like the products in the bathroom for shower (the smell)

The privacy, the tranquility, the natural beauty, the space, the designs of the rooms w/ the patio, the grounds, tye wildlife, the location, the staff, the accommodation, THE FOOD! - THE BEST!
