The staff were delightful and accommodating. The facilities were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. We liked it so much we stayed a second night.

Brand new so in great shape. Super, super friendly and helpful staff. Great setting. Good breakfast.

Parts are still under construction so boxes stored in odd places. The spiral staircase is a bit narrow, especially with a bag/suitcase (we discovered an external entrance to the room only after we had entered it from inside the inn). The restaurante really only had snacks and pizza for the most part. The nearest restaurants were a 10 minute drive away. Being so isolated, the inn really needs to offer a better menu. We had a celiac so had to go elsewhere for dinner.

It is a small and newly constructed hotel in the middle of the fields with Icelandic horses and mountain views. Property is expanding, but all the construction is done very discreetly. Rooms are clean and very new. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is a very nice addition. Check-in is easy, and the staff is very nice. You will always find a hot coffee in the lobby.

More furnishings would be nice (like bedside tables or a closet). Some staircases are narrow and steep. Also, a water filter might be needed - water has a specific smell (probably healthy, but still).

The whole house is newly renovated, and we were surprised how great everything was looking, since there were still some old pictures on the side. The location is great. The view Stunning. Breakfast was amazing. All in all amazing and in my opinion worth to book. For the price I expected something else, but was surprised how great it was! The family room was great

Maybe what would be needed is, night stands and a lamp next to the beds. But I assume that that is on the to do since it looked like the renovation is still in process.

The guest-house is off the road 1, you need to drive on dirt roads quite a bit, I think that's why the price is so affordable for Iceland. it is a very spacious property, with multiple rooms, game room, breakfast room, small kitchen for guests to make drinks or a quick supper. There is nothing nearby, if you come here, bring your own food. Breakfast provided though.

The room was very small, the window drapes were of light colour, so they did not block the summer night light coming in. Was difficult to fall asleep. Also, the bathroom for the 4 rooms was just 1, incl WC - it was spotlessly clean but 1 wc incl shower was a bit tight for so many people

Lovely, lovely place to stay. The guesthouse staff were kind and attentive (esp to my father in law that couldn't sleep.so he hung out in the common area reading for quite some time!). Beds were comfy with adequate space for our group. We were spread out into two rooms (we got two 4-person rooms for our party of 7). Even had a balcony on the top floor to enjoy the beautiful views! Would absolutely, 100% stay here again. Breakfast was continental (toast, cereal, coffee, tea, cut fruit, yogurt, etc) but very filling and the dining area was clean and cozy. Excellent hospitality and excellent stay.

Uh...the place was great! One small downside was the water had a sulfur smell in our bathroom, but they had a kitchenette on the third floor with filtered water for our water bottles.

Seriously, it’s a hidden gem! Quiet place in the middle of nowhere, with such a pleasant atmosphere. The owner (I guess) is so nice and friendly, we felt so welcomed here. The room was clean and cozy, and the view from our window - oh my, it was breathtaking. We shared a bathroom (which has good toiletries, hair dryer and even vanity kits) with two other rooms and it was ok. Also we shared a small kitchenette with a kettle, small fridge, tea, cups and plates. Breakfast was excellent, it had a lot of choices. There is a beautiful dining area, which is open till 22:00 and provides you with water, tea, coffee and some biscuits. Everything there seems to be chosen with love and sense of aesthetics, even music is soft and relaxing. I am so happy I chose Hvítá and I am so sad we’re leaving tomorrow, 2 days were not enough. Thank you so much and hope to see you again!

Absolutely nothing to mention

We had a very nice, but short stay in The Hvítá Inn as we booked quite late at night - when I called to the reception to make sure we will get into the hotel late at night lovely Czech girl answered the phone and gave us useful info. Our stay was very nice, breakfast awesome. I really liked the hotel location as it is away from crowds and the self check in instructions are very easy to follow. Recommend :)

Incredibly friendly staff, immaculate spotless clean, very cosy and warm (i forgot it was winter outside), very considerate of guests and travellers- provide coffee, tea, milk, etc. large comfy common space to do some reading and play board games. Oh and easy booking with detailed instructions. Highly recommended.

Not high wifi speed, but able to connect without problem. Not so soundproof, yet i slept like a baby. Nothing to complain. Really love the place.

Good stop if you're travelling to the Golden Circle. The place has clearly been recently renovated and features a nice common area on the main floor, with a nice view. Our bed was comfortable and we had a shared bathroom and tea station just outside our room. The breakfast features only cold options but caters to both sweet and savory palates with plenty of choice.

The room was pretty small: we could barely walk around the end of the bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the basement, but you'll never know unless you go hunting for it: it would be much easier to just have a sign up on each floor. And both the kitchen sink and our bathroom had a smell wafting up from the pipes, plus very distinct sulfur-smelling hot water if you mind that when you shower.
