On arrival Michael was welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is old but the rooms have had a really lovely renovation. Everything was spotless. Generous sized modern bathrooms with full length vanity top and a spacious walk in shower. And fluffy towels! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A kettle, toaster, and basic crockery is available to have a simple breakfast, an IGA is just down the road to purchase food. The town water is not drinkable and plenty of bottles of water are supplied. Overall a great little hotel for a stopover, and a lovely little town to explore, Highly recommended, in fact we returned to stay there on our return trip from Adelaide!

Despite the hotel rooms being set back from the road the noise of trucks during the night, though we are not used to noise at night and it isn’t the fault of the hotel. It wasn’t bad and the trucks are infrequent. Not a big issue.

The owners were lovely when I called to let them know that we would arrive later than selected check in time... they changed our booking to be able to check in anytime without disturbing anyone and no additional surprise charges etc... and kids enjoyed the room also. facilities were in well kept order and as the town is on untreated bore water and water not consumable in room the owners provided ample bottles of water for a family of 4 to use over 2 nights/3 days.

It's on the highway so it's not surprising there is some noise from trucks, but this is not too much of a problem. The room was pleasant. The town water is not safe to drink, but there is a generous supply of bottle water in the fridge at no extra cost. If required more can be obtained again at no extra cost. The owner was welcoming. A good place to break the trip between Melbourne and Adelaide.

It was perfect place to rest and refresh. I was visiting for my grandmas funeral, a very tumultuous time for us and I couldn’t rate the room and facilities high enough. Comfortable, easy reach of town, cool when it was so hot outside. Great hot water and bathroom facilities. I really appreciated the attentiveness of the host Michael he was very kind and friendly.

Some of the parking is hard to determine what is mine and what is the next room across - I didn’t find it too difficult to get out but another guest had parked crookedly and it made it a little tricky. If there was some lines or a marker it might help keep the areas separate and easier for people to know where and how to park. It’s a very small thing tho, I wasn’t upset about it.

This is a country motel with an exceptional manager who could not do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was arriving after check-in closed and he made sure I had all the information I needed to access my room when I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable and I had everything I needed. When he found an item after I'd left that I had mistakenly left behind he rang me to let me know. I'd thought I'd lost it elsewhere and was quite upset as it is avaluable item. I was delighted to know he'd found it and we made arrangements for it to be returned to me. I am indebted to him for going above and beyond. I often drive between Adelaide and Melbourne and this motel is an ideal location to take a rest stop between the two cities. It will be my go-to accommodation for future journeys.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, which isn't the first impression when you drive in so don't judge a book by its cover! The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing. You are on the main drag through to Adelaide, so you will hear trucks through the night. Be aware that the local IGA shuts at 6pm, although they are easy going enough that if you turn up at 6.05 and they are still there they will let you in! I love that about country towns!

The motel is an excellent one. The room was very clean and the bathroom excellent. Like many motels on the highway, it has to contend with some truck noise, but it is set back as far as possible on the property and I slept well. Our host was extremely helpful when our TV didn't work initially, and he was able to coax it into action.

The best motel we stayed at during our short trip in Australia. Very clean bedroom and bathroom, cozy bed and atmosphere! The shower takes a moment to get warm but its not an issue :-). Michael is super nice and gives you a warm welcome on arrival. Its a perfect motel to stay for one night and have a rest when heading either to Melbourne or Adelaide.

The Motel was within walking distance of town. The room was spotless and updated. As a single traveller, I felt very safe . Also highly recommend The Commercial Hotel for a fantastic feed . Will definitely give it a five 🌟 .

The room was as advertised. Large TV large room with no fault of the motel not much food options on a Monday Night But the Servo a few doors up had a great Hamburger.

I feel it could do better with noise reduction maybe double glassing. But unfortunately, all motels along the Western Highway suffers the same issue.
