I booked a private room with private bath, and was happy with the comfortable bed, big windows, a spacious bathroom, and a very peaceful terrace. The building is very clean with a large family room with lots of soft seating, as well as a kitchen and dining table. The fridge is stocked with soda, and wine and coffee are also available on the house. The owner, Marcela, wound up being one of my favourite people that I encountered during my camino. She is so welcoming and warm, and is absolutely dedicated to making sure you are comfortable and looked after. Don't miss out on her breakfast... scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, and delicious pancakes served with dulce de leche. When it's time to go, the road to the camino starts right outside your door. You couldn't ask for more.

The owner was fantastic. She came out all the way to help with a fantastic stay. I arrived late due to delayed flight and was exhausted after traveling through 36 hours’ hassle, I was afraid I had difficulty starting my first day camino with my son. No Mobile data plan setup, no Camino passport when I arrived the hotel. The owner moved us from Albergue to her hotel as she happed to have a vacant hotel room, she also gave us Camino passports for free. Her homemade breakfast was fantastic too.

Not really. Just one small thing,-The picture on the website seemed to be from a side view or back view of hotel. I had hard time matching the actual Albergue/hotel with the picture. But I was exhausted and may not be focusing so could be my fault not finding it on first sight. The owner came out and welcomed us, happily surprised and saved us a lot of energy!

Loved this place and the staff were so friendly. I enjoyed my private room and bath. It was lovely sitting out on the patio with a glass of wine. They provided complimentary beverages (wine, beer, water, coffee) and some snacks which was a treat! The bed was comfortable. The big, communal breakfast buffet in the morning is also lovely.

The handwashing station needed a plug or separate basin for washing. The location is at the end of town (~11-15min walk) and a bit off the Camino path - it was worth the extra steps.

A very nice experience, we felt home. Room comfortable, well decorated and clean. The special touch is the shared room downstairs with terrace, fireplace and free wine! We decided not to dinner, bought some cheese and other treats in a close supermarket just to enjoy the wine and fireplace in this special night. Laura was another diferencial, giving us a lot of tips, sharing her pilgrim story and giving us a nice gift, las manos del Camino. I will never forget!

Bathroom was private but not inside the room. It was really close and we had the keys, but I would prefer if it was inside the room. Other than that, experience was great and this small detail does not change our excellent perception about this hostel.

Very friendly staff especially the owner/manager. Breakfast was great. It was the start of our Camino walk so a great place to start with the Camino just along the street.

In our room the bathroom was separated with a wall which did not meet the ceiling. This felt like you were in the bathroom with the other person. Not sure if there is anything that can be done as this was probably to do with light to the bathroom area. It didn't spoil a very positive stay though.

We stayed in the second building not far from the main one. It has in the lower level a wonderful common area with sofas, fireplace, a large kitchen to prepare your own meal if you’d like (which we did) and a classic dining table. Great ambiance. The two rooms we stayed in were spacious with comfortable beds. Best of all was the host, Marcela’s. living hospitality. She prepared a breakfast (optional, extra fee) that was generous in its portions and a great way to meet the other guests who were also Camino pilgrims.

Everything was excellent. No complaints whatsoever!

Spent our night before the start of our first Camino and already received by this very warm hospitality. Marcela, the owner, gave us a lot of tips to discover the town and to prepare morally the camino. In a typical Galician cold and rainy weather in April, the property is maintained warm and quiet. Kitchen and living room is well equipped. It is located not far from the camino path. Gracias, Marcela!

We were not earlier warned that the flush of the WC doesn't work after 22h00, but we find that this is a correct way to respect the other pilgrims preparing the camino.

Marcela treated me like family. She was kind, funny, and warm. She provided us with an incredible breakfast of orange juice, coffee, eggs, toast, incredible jelles, and pancakes with chocolate, a good send-off to start El Camino de Santiago. The room was perfect, a comfy bed, a beautiful bathroom, nice towels, shampoo, hot water, and a balcony overlooking the old chapel. Very welcoming entry where you can sit and talk story, and have a coffee and tea Perfect location, near the start of El Camino, supermarket, pharmacy, and areas of interest. I felt very safe as a woman traveling solo. Matilda is the sweetest dog.

It was charming and quiet even though it is right on a main street. The property manager was fantastic and prepared a lovely breakfast. She made us feel like family.

We didn't have hot water in the morning for showers. I told the manager and she was mortified and offered us free breakfasts to compensate for the inconvenience. I doubt this was anything more than a brief problem.

First of all is the Host! Such a warm welcome 🤗🥰 We start our Camino way from Sarria and host helped me with sending a suitcase to the end point and a backpack to the next points on the route, recommended a wonderful place for dinner 🙏 The albergue is so beautiful and cosy, looks better than in picture. You have all you need for stay and start the Camino!
