Extraordinary sports offer, very good food and spa, kind staff, comfortable rooms. I was most surprised by a very large and novative sports offer, from yoga to HIT, with very good trainers. Food offer was very good too, and daily sauna at the end of the day was the cherry on the cake. Evenings in February were too cold for us to attend evening events but they seemed very nice too. We appreciated a lot that hotel managed to extend our stay in despite of high demand. Even though majority of staff and guests are German, everyone speaks English and made us feel comfortable.

Wind was too strong some days (February) but one could always find a shelter from the wind.

I recently stayed at Robinson Cape Verde, and it was truly one of the best vacation experiences I’ve ever had. The standout aspect was definitely the incredible staff—everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests had an amazing time. They went above and beyond, creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at home from the start. One of the things I loved was the variety of free activity classes available every day. Whether you’re into yoga, beach workouts, or water sports, there’s always something to try, and the instructors are fantastic. They keep it fun and engaging, so every day feels like an adventure if you want it to be! And let me rave about the food—easily the best I’ve had on the island. Not only is there a huge selection, but everything is also incredibly healthy and tasty. The chefs put a lot of thought into crafting meals that are as nutritious as they are delicious, and you can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients. From local Cape Verdean dishes to international options, every meal was a delight. All in all, Robinson Cape Verde combines the best of everything—an ideal location, excellent facilities, and staff that truly make the experience unforgettable. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, welcoming setting.

The hotel is very new and located in one of the best beach in Sal. The food is super delicious, varied and simple perfect. They have a lot of work out classes that are awsome, the quality is the same as a very good gym. The beach yoga is incredible! The rooms are new and are extremly confortable. And the staff is super nice, and communicative. I really liked that the staff ate at the buffet with the guests, it really shows they care about the employees.

For the price I was expecting a bit more commodities, but nothing that stands out. the only suggestion would be to have snacks in the beach bar, as there is only food at the restaurant and it’s a bit of a stretch from the beach

Would be good to have the inclusive cocktails available at the beach bar as at all the other bars in the hotel? Not sure why this was the case

The Hotel is located on the beach. Water bottles provided for free in the fridges to take at your convenience. Food is amazing, plated as in a high-end restaurant. More than enough sun lounges on the beach. Beach bar is very convenient. Plenty of exercise classes and gym is available. Entertainment is almost every night. Would definitely recommend. Wi-fi even works on the beach😀

The hotel is excellent. The facilities are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and had a good variety throughout the 10 days that we stayed there. They have many activities options. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We would definitely recommend the hotel for a relaxing vacation.

Good instalations, comfortable rooms

VERY german oriented. To the point, one could feel a bit discriminated if that isnt the case. On a (maybe) unrelated note, I had a problem with my booking (i had actually two) and I couldnt stay in the same room, nor did they communicate me that (I had to ask) .Late checkin wasnt an option for me neither... So small things, that takes a few points from an otherwise incredible resort.

We'd chosen this destination for a bit of winter sun without travelling for 11-12 hours. It's a short 15min drive from the airport (about 15 euros can fare). We'd chosen this hotel because it was all inclusive, adults only and had its own water sports centre. Everything positive you've read about this hotel in other reviews is spot on. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are of very generous size and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is AMAZING. When you think of all inclusive resorts, you think of quickly thrown together, average buffets. It is not the case at Robinson. The food was healthy, the options for dishes changed every day and every day you had options for dishes that were cooked in single portions just for you on top of the bulk cooked dishes. The quality of the food was incredible. There was new entertainment every night, including live music. The gym is a very generous size and the fitness classes were very good with very good instructors. If you're into watersports, you can try windsurfing for 1h to see if you like it for free and there's kitesurfing, paddle boarding and catamaran also available for you to try and learn. We'd happily stay again for a week of winter sun. Given all you get for what you pay for, it's incredibly good value for money.

The biggest thumbs down for us was that my other half got violently ill on our last day at the resort. We didn't go anywhere else for the duration of our stay, so it must've been from water (ie cocktails or raw vegetables washed in tap water). We'd have expected that there would be something in place to avoid travellers falling ill. That being said, the hotel staff were really good with helping me whilst I was running around like a headless chicken trying to sort what to do in this situation. The TV channels are mostly all German, but that's honestly a minor point since you don't actually spend much time in your room!

The facilities are great. Nice beach area, we really enjoyed the vibe of the sunset. The atmosphere is calm and really enables to unwind. The all inclusive buffet was creative and good, with new additions every day. Great program for sport and well equipped gym.
