We spent 2 nights at Tokajer Wellness Panzió and had a wonderful stay. The location is great — in a quiet part of town, and close to the beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated that it was equipped with things like an electric kettle and a drying rack, which made our stay more comfortable. The hotel is close to the train tracks but it did not bother us at all, you could barely hear the train in the yard and inside the building you can't hear it at all. The wellness area was a highlight, with 3 pools and a jacuzzi surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink from the hotel bar. There were also lots of fun activities available, including darts, ping pong, and table football. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, they offer a good selection. Highly recommended, would stay here again.

Nothing to dislike

Pools are nice, breakfast has variety, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Rooms are not extra spacious, but there is everything you may need. Clean and cosy. Table tennis, billiard table, and table football are available during the day. Nice small garden, and the whole area is being taken care of. Outside is big parking lot.

Small minus would be no bellman and also no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage to 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd floor on steep stairs by yourself. So do not pack heavy :) Also, during the season, the accommodation is packed with families with small kids that are occupying the pool and are splashing and being noisy, as kids are. So, just a warning in case you expect a quiet stay in wellness.

The spa facilities are great, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, IR sauna. Breakfast is served early, which is great if you want to get up and get started. The air conditioning was great, a nice relief from the summer heat. Discount at the restraunt down the road, which was very nice, portion sizes and food was good.

Nothing really not to like, if I had to call anything out, the spa was closed around 8pm, and we would have liked it open longer. We were cycling around the lake and got in late, so didn't get as much time as we would have liked in the spa. 8pm is not an unreasonable time to be open till, a purely selfish desire to have it open later, recomend staying.

Great place walking distance to the lake. 3 small pools & a large jacuzzi make for a relaxing time. Breakfast was varied & plentiful. Parking for cars out front. Motorcyclists note there is secure covered motorcycle parking at the rear. Reception staff initially wanted us to park on the front until I pointed out an e-mail stating secure parking for bikes. All in all a good place to stay in a nice area.

Our room was a bit on the small side. The balcony looked out over the neighbours garden. Sun beds were extremely uncomfortable Walls thin & so can hear guests in adjoining rooms.

Location: close to the beaches; has 2 or 3 swimming pools, and other recreational facilities, also a spa area wirh massage; it’s clean, the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The reception is multilngual. It has an outdoor playground for children

The room for two persons was a bit too tiny, ie the balcony doors cannot fully open because of the bed that is too close; also I would not recommend it for “bigger” humans, as I barely managed to get into the shower, it is meant for normal size people, not XXL+ or heavily pregnant women 😃 The bathroom style is kind of 1990s style, but all is relatively new and very clean.

They have a big choice of bikes sizes, so we could borrow bikes for the whole family, including for the children. The one of them loved the most the biking in and around Keszthely, the other - the swimming in the small indoor pool, and we the adults enjoyed the most the small but nice spa possibilities - jacuzzi and sauna. Not to forget the sport games in the garden like table tennis and darts which were happily used.

Very clean friendly staff

No evening meal and al facility’s like swimming pools and the bar closes at 8oclock it would work better to have poools open untill 10oclock And some were to get a pizza and bar open untill 12 would be fantastic but this place is really good

We could walk from the train station, good because we don't have a car. The receptionist was friendly, more than helpful, clearly loves talking to guests. The gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained.

Other raters said "very good breakfast" but it was just adequate, setup in two corners of the reception area with hot water from a dispenser in the next room, a carafe of coffee, (not a fresh bean coffee machine). They had assigned only two maids to 35 rooms and at the height of the season with frequent turnover. When we got into our room the beds had been stripped from the previous guests but not made up. Had to go back out and wait. Amenities: two tiny bars of soap and two packets of shower gel - not so special. They forgot to tell us the 2nd swimming pool is open later in the evening, although the second closes at 8pm, after a long sweaty hike would have been nice to have a dip...

We liked the location and the possibilities of using various wellness services. We could also borrow a bike from a large number of bikes. these services were already included in the price. Breakfast was basic but well covered, with home made salamis, cheese, some home cooked meats and a baked sausage and omelette. If something was missing, they brought it right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Since I am disabled, they checked and successfully resolved the payment of the tourist tax, for which I was grateful. The room was clean, with towels and even with a bathrobe.

There was also a smaller Whirpool available, but unfortunately my wife and I couldn't use it (on Saturday) because it was occupied by children almost all the day. Therefore, I would suggest booking this whirlpool if possible. Entering the premises is very difficult for disabled people with wheelchairs, as there are many stairs in between as a barrier. I might caution those more sensitive to air conditioning to get a room where the air conditioning is not immediately directly pointed at the heads of the people in bed.

The rooms and facilities were nice. I liked the sauna a lot, was using it every day. I am not a fan of small pools with a lot of chloride, was not using them, same with jacuzzi. The breakfast was good, with rather extended selection, although same every day. There is a playground, good for 6-8 years old. There is billiard (pool) available during the day (closed after 8pm), same with darts. Ping-pong all day round. They have a good selection of bicycles free to use. They are in good condition. I recommend to use the paid beaches - nice infrastructure and clean. Especially Városi Strand.

The small swimming pools felt heavily chlorinated. Jacuzzi generating foam, did not like it. The area does not have too many attractions, not much to see really, but this may be subjective
