We chose a lake view room which was perfect, looking out over the lake. Unfortunately, a boat was moored up right outside our room during our stay, which impeded the views of the lake somewhat! The hotel is very close to the Zeppelin Museum which was the purpose of our visit in Friedrichshaven. The room was spacious, with armchairs to admire the view over the lake and a good standard of facilities (we didn’t mind the glass-fronted shower room). The air conditioning was good, and very welcome as we arrived in a heatwave with temperatures in the mid-30s. The hotel is in the historic quarter which is traffic-free. You can take a car to the hotel to load / unload, but parking is in a public multi-storey car park about a five-minute walk away. Breakfast is served in the café next door. The choice was limited but the food was excellent.

We booked very last minute due to our car breaking down on the outskirts of Friedrichshafen. The staff were very welcoming, got us a complimentary drink and then helped us get all of our luggage to the room. The following day we spent a large portion of the day in Aika cafe waiting for the car to be repaired. All the staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Everyone there managed to communicate with us in English which helped tremendously.

The glass wall to the bathroom was a little odd.

The location is on the lake and easy to get to from train and ferry. The room was big with comfortable chairs, desk and bed. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was refreshed each day and was very clean.

The room looked like the photo, but I didn’t realize there was no privacy for the shower. There is a glass wall to the bathroom, and no shower curtain for privacy. Also, to make the room comfortable we needed to open the windows. There is a busy walkway under the window so it was loud in the evening. With the windows closed only very loud people could be heard and it was fine.

Breakfast was more than great. not much of a variety. No open buffet. But it was delicious and very well made. Isolation of the room is very good. Bed was EXCELLENT.

They need to Fokus more on the Cleanliness of the room. We had to fight with many insects with was not to be expected. The View of the room was spectacular. Only Problem it was 20 % blocked with a tree infront of the Window because room was on first floor

We didn’t have breakfast. The location was excellent once you actually arrived.

The accommodation is in a pedestrianised zone which meant parking 300 metres away and dragging our bags along cobbled streets. The rooms were excellent but in a separate building from the cafe/ reception area.

The location was great and the overall experience good.

The hotel advertised parking was available, However, there was no parking at the hotel. We had to use public parking four blocks from the hotel. As a disabled person, it took me twenty minutes each way to and from the hotel to the public parking. Walking is painful for me therefore this was a major negative experience.

Was not a typical hotel..converted apartment…weird entry . Air consitioning was wanky..hose out the window on the porch..def need to invest in something more permanent. Also we missed out on breakfast because we were not told it was included in the stay till the end ..and it was awesome the last day so that was a bummer

Big spacious modern room with great view just in the city center, next to the restaurants and the Zeppelin museum. Very clean and really great breakfast. Coffee and tea in the room. Lot’s of space! We definitely would choose this accommodation again.

What's not to like in this hotel? our stay was perfect from start to finish. This is a quirky boutique hotel with 10 rooms, you check in the bar next door (where the great b-fast is also taking place), and the rooms are in a 3 story building mixed with flats, shops etc. Maybe due to low season, it was quite empty and totally quiet. The full height windows look directly over the lake, breathtaking views at sunrise. The surroundings are quite nice, overall it was great.

Small things: the garage is actually a public parking 300m away for which you get a voucher - no big problem. In summer, I guess a terrace would be nice. But I have nothing to complain about in this hotel, it was all good.

Very nice apartment with beautiful view onto the lake. Good breakfast.

It’s a little bit too central for traveling by car. It’s not easy to find in the middle of the shopping area at the lake
