We like that it has good proximity to the Eurotunnel after our trip to Italy and yet in wonderful surroundings. We were given a free room upgrade to the Pavilion which overlooks lovely gardens. The pool area is basic (no extras) but clean. The restaurant area is nice and looks out at the chateau. The menu is limited but food quality very good, as is service and is reasonably priced. A good selection for the buffet breakfast .
Although we were given a free room upgrade (possibly because the price of our stay had dropped since booking), we would have expected a mini fridge and ac. Nice bar in the main building in terms of space and comfort but very limited in choice of drinks and bar staff attitude not great. People liking tranquility should be prepared for families staying with younger children and using the facilities

Beautiful setting and location, great for travelling with our 2 French bulldogs who appreciated the grounds. Very quiet which we loved. Wonderful staff who were kind and happy to help with any questions. Comfortable room - no air con which wasn’t great but the room did have a free standing fan which we were thankful for. Restaurant was closed when we arrived and no room service available which was disappointing after a long drive. Breakfast was decent with a good selection including different milks for those who are lactose intolerant.
No food/room service available late at night so if you arrive after hours, bear that in mind. Not sure I’d pay over €250 for one night again, seems excessive for what it was.

The receptionist on arrival, the charming young man on hand at breakfast and the waiters at dinner were all helpful and friendly. And of course the chateau itself - with its spacious grounds - is just a lovely place to be! Breakfast was delicious & our bed was extremely comfortable with just the right degree of firmness.
At these prices, the en-suite bathroom could have been bigger - our washbasin literally overhung the loo! And no shelf inside the shower cubicle for toiletries, so you had to place items on the floor - not ideal with a bad back! The restaurant wasn’t as elegant as we remembered (we think they’ve changed the tables) and we were disappointed that the delicious - & great value - set dinner was no longer available; everything is now a la carte. But we’ll still return, maybe book a room in the Pavilion du Parc next time where the bathrooms are more spacious & you’re close to the indoor pool.

A nice old-world country chateau, full of charm and set in beautiful grounds. There was a good restaurant on site where we had dinner and breakfast, and a comfortable bar area. We didn't use the pool area so I cannot comment on that.
Room was small but nice. The only downside of the whole trip was that our room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel, and at night, the external lights glared straight in through the curtains. It could do with blackout curtains.

I loved the location and facilities. Most of the staff were lovely.
We had a party of 17 people. When the main course was served we had no wine or water. We had pre-paid the wine but they refused to put the bottles on the table and were too busy to serve us. We ate the whole of our main course with no water or wine. I got up and put bottles of water on the table myself when I found them! The red wine was eventually served with dessert. We were still owed a glass of wine and some people had already gone to bed. Also the children didn’t get their main course until all the adults had been served - they are 5 and 7! After the meal we went to the bar and waited while the barman served another person. When we asked for drinks he refused to serve us as it was 2 minutes past ten. He was not polite.

A very nice hotel especially as a stay over in anticipation of, or after, a channel crossing. Decent swimming pool, tennis court is a nice bonus.
Breakfast is ok, but could be better. Not much choice, and of what there was, when finished there was no topping up so, even though we were there a long time before breakfast close, there was little left of what we wanted. The point being so blatant, we felt uncomfortable to point it out to any staff, just topped up breakfast at the local MacDonald's, really a first for us in this context. That said, we would still book the hotel in the future and hope breakfast to improve.

Beautiful Chateau in beautiful grounds staff were very accommodating with our dog The food was very good would have been nice to have an offer for a set meal Staff were friendly. Our dog Georgie absolutely loved it 😊
We travelled with our dog so presumed they only had particular rooms they allocated for dog owners. Our room was small although the bathroom was a decent size, but for the price the room could have been bigger. The swimming pool was great however the dirty tide marks around the steps could have easily been cleaned. Food and drinks were very expensive

Place was very beautiful as the pictures show. Room was great luckily we had the corner so 2 sets of French windows which allowed the wind to breeze through and cool down. Recommend looking up places to dine prior to arrival if staying on a sunday. Pool was pleasant and the breakfast had plenty of options.
Sunday and Monday are difficult nights to stay with the dinner options. Sunday not available, and many of the places nearby were shut - needed to go to Omer for dinner both nights.

The room was big and comfortable with excellent views outside (on two sides). We arrived at 0130 and the receptionist was welcoming and efficient. Lovely decor (even if a bit tired). Plenty of parking and facilities. Good-looking pool (which we didn't use).
Breakfast a little underwhelming quality-wise (especially coffee), and decor was a little basic (Ikea-type prefabricated units) which was a little out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. Service was good though. The toilet in the bedroom was too close to the side wall - sit on it sideways!

Everything from the initial check in to check out was perfect. Set in a quiet part of the French countryside, but only 45 mins drive from Calais, it was a perfect location for us to stop overnight on our drive back from Paris to UK. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel very comfortable. The restaurant was just gorgeous with amazing food to match. The staff couldn't do enough for you. We will book again, but next time take advantage of the swimming pool.
Rooms were on the small side, but still ample room.
