The property was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful across the board. Wine tour was informational with great guide! Room was spacious with convenient amenities.

The spa facilities were a bit lacking, jets in the jacuzzi did not work. Restaurant seemed overpriced for the quality/portions. Was mislead to believe we were staying on the main property when really we had booked a smaller building over a mile away and were told we only could use bikes (since we did not have a car) to reach all of the restaurants and facilities. Received a message even telling us to check in at the main property, which was incorrect, and had to pay a lot of money upon arrival to upgrade our room to the main property.

Exceeded expectations across the board. The hotel itself is beautiful and just driving through the vines to the hotel itself is an experience. We were kindly upgraded to the most beautiful room with a view of the pond and a seating area outside. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. For those uk-based - this les source is like a much more luxurious and wine focussed 'Pig' hotel. We are alrady looking forward to returning in the warmer months to experience the vines full of grapes and see the kitchen garden in full bloom!

Loved the experience of staying here at the resort, from the beautiful chateau to the pool and the vineyard, was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Would definitely stay here again, for longer this time!

The only complaint I have — the initial transport to the chateau de thil was unnecessarily stressful. We did not have a car (we took Uber) and the staff negotiated with the driver to stay while we checked in to bring us to the other property. The driver was confused, we had to book another ride so he could bring us to the property, he got lost. It would be a lot better/less stressful experience if the hotel offered free transport to the property. (And we thoroughly enjoyed the bikes after this initial situation).

This was a highly anticipated stay at Les Sources de Caudalie. Rooms, facilities and food were just as special as they look and as one would expect. What will amaze you is 1) Every single person in this hotel knows exactly what to do in every circumstance, so service flows in the most gracious way and 2) In-room amenities, towels, bed linen, as well as every single product in every restaurant and bar is of the highest standard and sourced locally, rightfully matching the iconic Smith Haut Lafitte vineyards and the Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa. One advice for readers: Visit the château and the vineyards.

Beautiful tranquil surroundings, old architectural buildings sympathetically converted into parts of the hotel and maintained perfectly. Food at La Grande Vigne amazing. Option of wine tour at adjacent Smith Haute Lafitte vineyard definitely worth taking. Bicycles available for guests to explore the area a lovely touch and a really good way to see around. Indoor and outdoor pools fabulous.

Nothing - it’s beautiful. It is very expensive - not just the accommodation but drinks and food etc - understandably so but definitely something to save up for.

Premises are very lovely, food was delicious and plenty of options during the day and in the evening! Really appreciated the communications prior to our arrival so that we could book a car for transportation. Enjoyed the wine tasting and walking trails around

- Breakfast at the Thil could have been better - there were not many options for a 20 EUR breakfast - Indoor pool, small gym and small sauna is accessible for everyone but actual spa is separate and only accessible if you have a treatment - It would be great to have that clarified at the beginning

This property was exceptional - the facilities, location, and food were all world class. I would recommend anyone spending a few nights in Bordeaux consider this property.

When booking it is not clear that 11 of their rooms are in a separate building located a short drive from the main hotel. This meant shuttling via car or bike (uphill) to use the amenities like the pools. This was still quite nice, but if I had known I would have made sure to book the main building - if I ever go back, I would stay in the main building.

We were only there for a day so didn’t book any spa treatments. We wished there was a changing room at the spa for people not taking a spa treatment. We had to go back to our room at Chateau de Thil wet.

We loved the location, room, and service. Everything at the hotel was top notch. The indoor pool was one of my favorites! We also loved the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

This is my second time here. Still excellent in everything - location in vineyards, spa, design, restaurants, cosmetics.

2 problems in the room: 1) WC: There must be a sink to wash your hands, it is just a simple matter of hygiene. 2) Shower: Very hot water, impossible to regulate.
