The staff were without exception efficient, friendly and a credit to the hotel. The staff could not do more to help. There were a small number of staff who worked long shifts brilliantly and it was really super to see the same faces each day. The location was stunning with direct access to the sea and walking distance to various restaurants and a supermarket.

A tiny tiny thing! There could have been hooks put on the bathroom doors to enable us to dry towels etc. This would also mean we could reuse towels more saving washing machine cycles. Also environmentally each day we were given new plastic water bottles which I appreciate is extremely common in hotels but I hope we can move away from this soon.

Tis property is AMAZING. The location and views are breathtaking. The staff are all very kind and attentive. The food was amazing. Breakfast is like a breakfast charcuterie board with fruits and cheeses and bread and cakes and jams and honey and meats and salad and spinach pie and besides all that your choice of eggs and toast. Delicious! And to enjoy it with that view was really fantastic. I couldn't believe we were at such a beautiful location. It was like being inside a picture that you see of Greece but we were really there. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Not only do you have the beautiful sea to swim in but there is also a beautiful swimming pool. from 1 - 10 its a 15!

there was nothing I didn't like

The location was beautiful in terms of the hotel site blending in so beautifully into the natural landscape. The reception area, Lounge, Dining Room and outside drinks/eating terrace was both well appointed and stylishly furnished. The bedroom we had was really well appointed with most comfortable furniture, bedding, wardrobe space and some lovely attention to detail. A bottle of wine on our arrival and a small bottle of local digestif, some sweets, water cartons in the fridge and come lovely bathroom toiletries. The breakfast was truly excellent with a tray brought to one’s table of delicious little dishes including yoghurt, nuts seeds and dried fruits, fruit salad, eggs, fresh cucumber tomatoes and olives, breakfast pastries and numerous delicacies to tempt us into further feasting. The swimming pool was fresh, and the sun beds were most comfortable, we did get into the sea off the jetty with the temperature in early May being most fresh.

I felt the restaurant food for the A La Carte menu was a big let down. The menu on two nights failed to surprise us in fact the four dishes were just disappointing. There appeared to be no really thought out theme given that the hotel overall blended so beautifully with the natural geography and location. Why not reflect the marvellous Greek flavours, the fish, fresh fruit and vegetables. There is more you can do with a cooked aubergine than just slice it and top it with chick peas. One great success however was the delicious milk tart and a starter tray of breads, oil, olives and salt - simple and delicious.

A well renovated stone building of a Mani’ s renowned family , nicely embedded in the surrounding environment and with respect to the history of this place. Elevated culinary experience which along with the disposal of private shores to swim elevates the place to a well being facility . The serenity and seclusion adds another jewel to the crown of Kyrimai Hotel ! We unreservedly recommend it and we re rally looking fw to coming back again ! To the summers to come !

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast and the food in the restaurant was unique. I loved this hotel!

Even though the location of the hotel is exceptional, literally on the sea, Gerolimenas is a bit far from the main towns, Gythio and Areopoli. Unless you have a car, it is not possible to reach the hotel. For us this was not a problem at all though. There is nothing that you will not possibly like in this hotel.

Beautiful setting by the sea. Fridge in room, decent hairdryer, beach towels provided. Very interesting and different choice of dishes served for breakfast. Good location for exploring the Mani. The car park right by the hotel is tiny but there is a larger one off the street behind the hotel where we had no trouble parking.

Shower over bath and no screen meant it was impossible to avoid the entire bathroom getting really wet. Having mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday when I booked a table for dinner on the first night, I was disappointed that they didn’t even wish him a happy birthday. Wasps at breakfast were annoying. Be aware that there are a lot of steps between levels which we weren't too keen on but would be difficult for those with mobility issues.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited. Strongly recommended – the location is simply unbeatable. The rooms are beautifully designed, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, from the friendly receptionist to the attentive restaurant team. Special thanks to Fady and the others, who always greeted us with a smile and warm, professional service. A truly exceptional experience.

Nothing, just waiting to return next year

The hotel is in an old amazing building like the ones you see in Mani, right next to the sea. It is renovated and decorated very beautifully. The personel is polite and ready to help, the pool very nice. The food was also very good and local. You should try for sure the "pitari" with spinnach and cheese.

The hotel has NO parking space. It has 9 spaces just outside, and there is a larger open common parking space a bit further away, for about 40-50 cars, which however serves the whole village. The only other alternative is to leave the car in the main road, quite far. I did not like that at all.

We usually avoid eating at hotel restaurants, but this time, we ate all our meals there! The breakfast was to-die for, and included fresh fruit, local yogurt, all locally sourced ingredients, local recipes and a great blend of protein, fruit, salads (yes, the "dakos" salad), jams and local honey. No matter what your tooth of choice is, it satisfied all of them. Dinner was also a gourmet affair (breakfast was too satisfying to even consider "lunch"), with locally sourced fish and meat and local recipes.

We had to leave at some point.
