We liked everything about this hotel, it was amazing! It is a cozy place, well decorated and nice. Our room had a nice size bathtub and a balcony. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was clean and cozy. Our bed was made every day. It was great! Breakfast was awesome and plenty. We couldn't actually finish the whole thing. They will give you a variety of traditional Georgian dishes and that were delicious! The service from the front desk ladies, Annie and Ana (hope I spelled their names correctly) was outstanding! Kudos to them. Annie helped us with everything we needed and gave us tips on where to go around Telavi and Khaketi. The hotel is well located and you have historical places, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, and supermarkets within walking distance. You can also walk to Telavi Bazaar (open market)

Our stay at Communal was absolutely fantastic! The location was perfect, and the ambience was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The room was impeccably clean, with super comfortable bed and linens that made for a restful night’s sleep. The in-room features, like the bathtub and fireplace, added a touch of luxury and coziness to our stay. The food was delicious, making every meal an experience to look forward to. Everything about our stay was worth every penny, and we would definitely recommend this hotel in both winter and summer. We can’t wait to return!

This was a very comfortable hotel with friendly front of house staff. Anna was lovely and helped us to arrange a visit to a local winery which was much appreciated. The rooms and pool area were gorgeous - sadly our weather didn't allow use of the pool but that can't be helped! The hotel is well located, just off the main square so it's reasonably central but fairly quiet (the parking is in the main square, which was no issue in low season but I don't know if this would be less convenient in high season?). The breakfast was lovely, and the staff at breakfast were always attentive and helpful.

The wifi here was really poor. We often couldn't get any in our room, or it would work for a couple of mins and then time out. I couldn't give the Doli restaurant 10/10. The menu is quite small and a few things weren't available (which we weren't told about until we tried to order them). Overall we still had a very nice meal, but the evening restaurant staff were less attentive than the morning team.

I liked the hotel's interior and coziness; the atmosphere is very pleasant and even unique. Those who appreciate a vintage style and interior design will truly enjoy staying here. The courtyard and the rooftop veranda also offer a very delightful ambiance. The location is also excellent. It is in the city center, making it easy to reach any place on foot from the hotel.

What I didn’t like as much is that the hotel seems to be more focused on operating during weekends, and on other days (especially in the winter season), there are hardly any entertainment options. I also didn’t like the shower in the bathroom, as it was almost impossible to use it without getting the entire bathroom wet. Additionally, there was an issue with the water heating, though it was resolved quickly. Moreover, the room temperature was quite low despite the heating being turned up to the maximum. The breakfast was the same every day with no options to choose from, and I got the impression that it was made from leftover products from the previous day rather than fresh ingredients.

From the photo at first it seemed like the room was very harsh on the colors and it put me off a bit. But after check-in there were no questions at all. Very helpful staff and very convenient that there was a restaurant on the first floor. Also really liked that the bathroom had pretty high quality and not cheap supplies. If I have to come again - I will stay in this hotel, as the current trip was spontaneous.

The only minor downside was after cleaning before check-in there was a slight odor in the bathroom, which was promptly cleaned up by the staff while we went out for coffee

This hotel had a unique layout to it. When you come in, you walked through curtains to a common area. The employees of the hotel are friendly and helpful. Our room was huge. We were very happy at first glance of the size of the room and the amenities. The bed was super comfortable. We could hav slept forever in that comfortable bed and the blackout curtains.

The WiFi here is terrible. To get a signal. I would have to go to the lobby. This was not ideal or enjoyable. The bathroom. The water was cold unless you turned the dial to an exact point. And that exact point had very little water pressure. So it was either get good water pressure and freeze or get low water pressure and heat. The shower curtain was old and tattered. It didn't keep water in the actual shower so after the shower the floor around the bathroom was flooded.

A quick service in the bathroom during the day would have been appreciated as the shower in the bathtub created a bit of a wet mess. Unfortunately like in many places in Georgia there are lots of stray dogs around the hotel that disturb the sleep. Overall we had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. Thanks to all the kind employees!

The hotel is really well designed, I had feeling I was in an old place with cuban elements, where tradition and modernity are meeting. the room had only window on the ceiling, but from the bath it was perfect. the amenities are really high quality, in room there are mini bar, coffee machine and so on.

when you are coming out from the hot tub it can happen that the water can drop out, so with it you have to be careful, as it can come down to the side of the bed. the interior is really nice, but if you are working on remote and have to work on computer, there isn’t really a lot of space, you have to move things from table and sit like that.

Fantastic restaurant and really characterful, attractive and ‘cool’ property. Lovely pool area. Amazing location - central but quiet street (which was really pretty). Dinner was delicious and the staff at dinner were really friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was only served from 9am which is unusually late - and in practice, most of the food was not actually brought out until 9:30. On our final day there was a full restaurant of guests at 9:30 still waiting for bread to be brought out. The bathroom seemed badly designed and flooded every time the shower was used. The Wi-Fi did not reach into our room (we had to stand right next to the door).
