We had booked the owner's room on second floor which was extra large with a perfect panorma view onto the bay, luxurous as you would expect from a room that the owner had designed primarily for himself. Breakfast was sumptious, with fresh fruits mango, banana etc. riped on the tree which I have not eaten in such quality for ages, and in no other places during our SA stay. Thank you Carol and your team. Carol and team were very friendly and helpful at all times, making you feel at home, and giving good recommendations for local restaurants. Blue goose just a few minutes away had gread seafood and filets soft and tender like nowhere in Europe. * Maybe one thing worth to know for that area is the the term power sheding ... which means that due to an overall underprovision of power in the entire area it may happen that sometimes there is no electrical supply for eg 10 -12 pm. Great place!

I absolutely liked everything.From the day I booked,on my arrival n the whole duration of my stay.Carol has been so helpful since the day I booked. The entire accommodation is so neat n it has very nice views of the beach ❤️👌 Our room was very big n neat…Ohw let me not forget their friendly staff n their nice breakfast. 🍳.I felt like I could stay longer😭

Stunning water views and Southern Right Whales spotted so close! There are binoculars in the shared living space if you need a closer look. The owners and staff run a very thoughtful and friendly operation. Amazing breakfast spread & eggs Benedict was delicious. Loved the huge bathtub in my room. Parking right outside.

There really is nothing wrong with the guest house as a whole. Would recommend! It takes a long time for them to make your cooked breakfast order, so don't be in a rush to go out. You can help yourself to buffet in the meantime. Breakfast time could do with a little more ambience - playing some music would be amazing as it's quiet and a little awkward at times with staff hanging around watching you help yourself to the buffet when they have nothing to do.

I chose Sea Star Lodge for the location and the view out on the bay. Also in the advertising the hotel looked very appealing. All my expectations were surpassed as my hosts Kate and husband Blessed were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay fabulous. All the staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were outstanding, spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choices on the menu. Sea Star Lodge is one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last 40 years of worldwide travel. Thank you Kate and Blessed.

Amazing place and location. The staff were very friendly though, especially Carol who makes my wife day so special on her birthday much appreciated, she even upgraded our room that was amazing The ocean view was spectacular, and the breakfast was next level anytime again for me to visit Sea Star Lodge.

The view was very nice and comforting, breakfast was delicious we really enjoyed it. The rooms were neat and welcoming.

I did not like the fact that only one TV channel that was playing. The toilet had no toilet spray, and the coffee we only had 3 sachets of coffee and they were not refilled the second day. I wish they can put soft drinks when they give complimentary gift because not everybody is drinking beers.

The location. The courtesy call before hand. The prompt service. The cleanliness. The friendly staff

It would have been nice to have been told when loadshedding was occurring seeing as I got a courtesy call to find out where I was half an hour before it started. I mention this as I asked where to go to, to get a decent take away meal which would need to have been heated as I mentioned I would eat it later. I was also not told that the bed side lamps had loadshedding bulbs in them which was a lovely add on but I only realized in the morning when loadshedding started again and they stayed on. I was supplied a lamp though. All in all I will definitely stay there again so thank you. This was constructive feedback for future visits which I definitely plan on doing :)

Continental breakfast had the best variety. High quality and fantastic hospitality. You have an option for hot breakfast as well. It exceeded my expectations.

Carol was the best host. She is attentive and made sure I was comfortable through my entire stay. Triple gold stars for Carol.

Booking at the Lodge was value for money. The rooms were exactly as is on the website. The room was luxurious with beautiful views of the sea. Excellent service from Carol the Manager and Sinazo the chef. They made our stay as a couple a beautiful and memorable one.

Breakfast was fantastic and the views were stunning. The staff were really nice to deal with as we came in later than expected.

Rooms were well equipped, comfy and spacious. Interior decor was a little loud for me.
