My stay at this hotel in San Giovanni Rotondo was truly memorable. The location is excellent—just a short distance from the Sanctuary of Padre Pio, which made visiting the holy site so convenient and peaceful. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The room was well-equipped, and everything was spotless. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their warmth made me feel genuinely welcome. I also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant—authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. It was the perfect place to relax and reflect during my pilgrimage. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Giovanni Rotondo. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was ideal for visiting San Giovanni Rotondo. The hospital/Churches and restaurants/bars were close by. If you travelled by bus the bus station was a couple of minutes away. Religious shops were also only a few minutes walk. The Hotel was very pleasant, with a bar and restaurant and outside seating. Breakfast simple but pleasant. Restaurant food very good with a good service and well priced.

The only 2 down sides were that the shower was a little small and the restaurant did not open until 7.30pm. Although this is not unusual in the area.

the most I liked was location, so close to sanctuary of Padre Pio. so easy to take buses and visit other places as well (Mount Sant Angelo for example). the staff were very kind with us let us doing checking earlier in the morning, providing us information about masses of church and also hot water every time we asked for.

not many options gluten free in breakfast, even not eggs. the man in charge of breakfast was so grumpy and no nice with people and made us feel uncomfortable.

Excellent location just two minutes walk from main bus station at Piazza Forgione & 5 mins to Sanctuary of Padre Pio. €3.8 bus ride from Foggia which took about an hour. Same station if visiting Basilica Sanctuorio Sant Michele in Monte San Angelo which cost €2.5 bus ride about 30mins. Great complimentary breakfast w nice hot beverages.

Very easy walk to the Padre Pio shrine and church.

Very close to Padre Pio Shrine and the bus station. They helped me find the bus and times to Sant’Angelo shrine in another town. The hotel restaurant is very good. Breakfast was very good too.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cologne! The location was spectacular, just a few minutes from the sanctuary, exactly what I was looking for. The food was amazing, public transport was conveniently really close, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Warm welcoming upon arrival with much clear explanation in English, room was huge with Refrigerator, room heater as well in bathroom, hotel change everyday towels and clean groom as well. Very close to the Sanctuary

The internet wifi seems can hardly get good signal in our room 208. Breakfast need variety of choices most particular staying for a week Pligrims like the cold cuts and cheeses..need strong heat bread warmer during cold weather as we did RAINING everyday...the rest of the food ok.

In my tour of 10 days in Italy, I stayed in 5-6 rooms in this price range and slightly above. This was the best room out of all places. Very convenient location, walking distance to the cathedral, restaurants, souvenir shops and public transport.

Nothing in particular to dislike the place.
