The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. Zinzi did her best to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was good. We will definitely come back soon

On our arrival, we saw the parking at Nautilus Close but couldn't see the entrance as there were many closed gates with no sign of what to do to get in. So we wondered outside looking at all the possible gates with no luck. To get in we had to call the number on app

The warm welcome we received on arrival, definitely set the tone for our stay. The location is very peaceful and quiet and a stone throw from the beach. Breakfast was great with a nice variety everyday. The staff are very friendly and respectful, going beyond their duties to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The swimming pool was most definitely my son's favourite place to spend time at.

Nothing we didn't like.

The host was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We were so tired from travelling all day and check in was done so quickly and effortlessly. The next morning our breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room with all the trimmings.

I cannot fault the facility or host - the only problem was that the air conditioning was not working, but we were told upfront about the issue and additional fans were already in the room. Would have been great to have parking in front of the property as I battle a little with stairs but that is de to no fault of theirs.

It's an absolutely incredible getaway! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, making it super convenient for a relaxing escape. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, truly amazing service. The property is clean, beautifully maintained, and offers a serene atmosphere. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating experience!

Nothing at all.

The Presidential Suite was the best. The 2 downstairs units need working on as airconditioners didn't work despite Shakes and Levuka getting in the aircon people. Hope they got it right as well as the loo leaking in the first downstairs unit we moved to.

No working airconditioners in extremely hot weather in the 2 downstairs units. My son's bed in the first unit was also not comfortable at all and very lumpy.

Place is just as the pictures showed it. Excellent. Clean, neat with lovely, friendly staff. The staff went above & beyond to make us welcome & we happy to accomodate our bfast as early as 5am as we had work commitments. They extended our stay at great rates and even included delish dinner upon request. Really homely & comfortable. Highly recommend.

Out of town for those who want to be in the holiday hub.

Under the new management and staff, The Nautilus Guesthouse really exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Shakespeare, his wife and staff for their friendly demeanor and welcome. The location is close to the beach and just off the national road. There's a Spar close by as well. The guesthouse is very well maintained and clean. The breakfast was tasty and well presented. Will highly recommend The Nautilus Guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.

Everything. From reception, to the wonderful hosts, the room service, the room itself, the bed, bath, TV, views. Close proximity to the beach, shops. Just off the N2. It is a true Gem. I even picked up a new hobby of watching ships 🤭😌 didn't want to leave. The breakfast is heavenly delicious. Had time of my life. Definitely coming back soon and staying longer ❤️❤️❤️

The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything necessary. There were 3 beds so we could make a plan for baby. The breakfast was amazing and very good value for money. The host, Nandi, was especially helpful at breakfast and even looked after baby so that mom could eat.

I requested a cot for the baby, but only on arrival heard that it was not available. Would have appreciated communication before arrival.

Very caring and professional staff. Immaculate and high-quality facilities. Huge, comfortable bed with decent cotton sheets, and a lovely sea view from bed. Secure. Perfectly cooked breakfast. I've tried 5 properties in Port Elizabeth since January 2024 and Nautilus is in a league of its own.

It's so perfect, I am worried I won't always be able to stay here!
