Great location in playa Chiquita . Walk to beach great restaurants and market close by. Monkeys in the trees and even a sloth on the property . Pool was clean and refreshing .

The rooms are very open without screens and the living room space was uncomfortable . The staff offered an additional room which worked out nice for my family and I . Long walk to car in the rain wasn't too fun .

we loved how it was surrounded by nature, nice and quiet. the location was great for relaxing and going to the beach, with great restaurants nearby and not to far from Puerto Viejo in taxi. we stayed in the original room we booked but it was by the reception and was a last minute booking. but we asked if there was any better rooms with air conditioning. the staff was brilliant and after 1 night they moved us to a new lodge nearer the pool area. also they new it was our honeymoon and gave us a bottle of champagne and flowers on the bed. all in all great hotel and stay.

the lodge we first stayed in wasn’t as modern as the rest of the lodges we moved into.

I loved this hotel; it was in the middle of the forest. The location was perfect because it was in between Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo, so everything was nearby.

Nothing, it was perfect!

The location of this lodge is literally in the middle of the jungle, even if very close to the main road. The flora and fauna are absolutely amazing: you can spot (and hear) numerous birds, howler monkeys (luckily they stayed quite high up in the trees), etc. The lodge itself is huge, very well maintained, very clean and overall super comfortable. I was impressed at how clean the whole area was, given the wind, leaves constantly falling etc. The lodge also has a swimming pool, massage facilities and a restaurant, so one does not even have to travel for long to get access to mostly everything. There is also a small supermarket at 5 mins walking distance, and there are also some other restaurants within walking distance, which is great.

Everything was honestly great, but it can get loud due to the howler monkeys - just be ready to embrace it.

Very close to the beaches, the hotel is immersed in the forest, fair price. the breakfast was good.

Very nice and quiet place just outside Puerto Viejo. Staff is very friendly and there is a secure parking.. The cabins are beautifull and have a nice view on the forest. Nice and extensive breakfast.

The price. Booking lied about the price.

It looks so luxurious! aesthetically pleasing absolutely! The massage and body scrub were fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our lack of Spanish. Breakfast was fantastic as well as their dinner options. Restaurant was incredible.

The hot tub which we paid extra for would not get hot. The bed was like sleep on rocks. Also our toilet flush switch was broken so I had to open the top of the toilet to flush the whole time. Not worth the price of upgrade.

Linens and towels need replacing. While clean and changed daily upon request, they are worn and thin. This would be a simple low cost but noticeable update.

Alex and his sister on reception were warm and helpful After an issue with the first bungalow, they addressed it right away and made sure everything was good for the rest of my stay. It made all the difference. Quiet and secluded Restaurant service was good, but staff could be a little warmer.
