As we had a rented car, that made it easy to locate this Hotel Route Inn at Takamatsu. Hotel has ample car parks. At reception, was a nice coffee machine that serves freshly grounded coffee. This hotel is just a short drive to shikoku mura vilage, Takamatsu Castle and Ritsurin Garden. Also close to a mall (on the way to Shikoku Mura Village) where there is a supermarket. We managed to buy strawberries that were in season. There are many eateries around the hotel. With the recommendation by receptionist we were at a Beef Teppanyaki restaurant. Only a short 10 mins walk from the hotel. We had the hotel help us book this restaurant . We enjoyed the dinner meal very much.

Pillows .. wish there is a choice for firmer pillows.

The breakfast is a typical Japanese one with reasonable variety of food. The location is good as I was driving but there are really plenty of restaurants around the quartier. The public bath (onsen) is clean with razor, shampoo and shower gel, which is even well-equipped than many paid onsen.

The room was very nice and large. There was a onsen (but I did not use it). The hotel has a parking which is really convenient. The breakfast is a small buffet that was perfect to start the day.

The hotel could be a bit harder to reach if you don't have a car, as it is not in the city center.

Very well located w numerous options for food around, within walking distance. Nice options for breakfast! Good was good. Staff professional.

Hotel is good, just about to meet my expectation.

Pillow is a bit too hard, the spare pillow is smaller and not comfortable. There is no free bottle of water in the room.

Public bath was clean and nice; Every breakfast item was delicious and more than adequate, we especially liked the fresh green salad every morning.

Front desk is helpful. Free indoor car parking area is spacious and free. Hotel nearby has nice restaurant.

The bed is too soft. The room is a little bit old and small.
