I have stayed here twice a year for the last 15 years (except during covid) the hotel gets better and better.

The new owners should stop sticking so rigidly to check-out time. Apart from Holiday periods the hotel never seems totally full and being more civilised a 12.00 to 1300 would be a far better check out time.

Excellent location, excellent communication with all staff, both in writing and in person. Rooms big enough and were prepared as per our families needs - number of beds based on our request in advance. Great location in the city center. Breakfast with more options (usually I am used to more types of food to select, but definitely it was enough, both salty and sweet selections and drinks). Very nice historical building. We had 9 bikes, parking was granted for us for free in the safe hotel garage.

Stairs were closed without any information why and we had to use lift to 1st floor, but lift smelled bad (mods maybe). Coffee not tasty during breakfast. But these are really not things that could ruin our good experience from the hotel.

We did not take the breakfast. The parking place is available in front of the hotel free of charge in the weekend. Parking is available with a reasonable price.

The peoples with pets have to be far from you because of the noises they can make.

Beautiful old hotel in the centre, with spacious rooms with a beautiful view over the street, but still very quiet. The bed was quite comfortable, we slept really well. And the breakfast buffet was delicious! The employees are very nice and attentive and they speak English and German too. We booked the room with a seasonal discount, so I don't know if I would pick the same hotel when they are at full price (as stated, it IS an old hotel, so some minor things are not in absolutely perfect shape - though they didn't bother us at all), but overall the experience was great!

The hotel has an excellent location in the middle of the city. The private parking was working well. The packed breakfast for takeaway was delicious as well. There was a nice staff in general.

1. The neighbors were a bit loud during the first night. 2. There was a lack of a fridge (however, the terrace did the job during the winter). 3, Beds, in terms of breaking your finger because it was inevitable to kick in the frame for some reason multiple times.

Great central location easy to walk to all main tourist attractions and public transit whether bus or train. very large comfortable room, beautifully decorated, quiet. Fast elevator. excellent variety at breakfast. great value for your money. very helpful staff.

Having a restaurant on site for dinner time would have been helpful. Our double bed was two Singles put beside each other. this is typical however these were on wheels and they kept moving away from each other.

The beautiful historic building is located in the heart of the city on the main street, while the rooms with balconies are clean and quite big. The gym with new Techno Gym equipment is open 24/7. Both the entrance hall and breakfast room are stunning: ornamented, high ceilings, historic architecture. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel would need some renovation to maintain the building.

Breakfast was good, catered all my needs. Room was big enough for me and the location was close to everything, public transport etc. Hotel provided a breakfast box for a day trip I had with relatives, was very filling and tasty.

Dispenser in shower did not work, but hotel provided shampoo and shower gel, was happy about that.

We have stayed at the hotel several times. Love the style from the monarchy. Very good breakfast with everything. The hotel is walking distance from the train station and close to the pretty old town with lot historie. Sopron is a must. One hour by train to Wienna and two hour from Budapest to Sopron. Great location in the city centre, comfortable and clean rooms The breakfast was nothing special but you find your food (eggs, sausage, cheese, ham, ...). The staff was very nice. You can park your car in the garage (11 €/night) but we had the bikes and we could leave them free of charge. Not completely new hotel but we were satisfied.

Empty mini bar in the room. The hotel has nice rooftop bar, but it was not in operation what it is really pity because it is the place with great potential. But it is open for guests you can be there to look around or sit down with own food/drink. The wellness was out of order, probably in reconstruction. Do not expect the live hotel with many people, night bars, there is really quiet what is unusal for 4* hotel in the city centre.
