The 2 restaurants are excellent, the rooms are beautiful, I recommend families to take a connecting room. The view is amazing (preferably a room overlooking the lake).

The hotel is relatively far from points of interest, I would recommend 2 nights, no more.

Breakfast spread par to none we enjoyed and ever so friendly and helpful staff. The location on the shore of the Traunsee and easy access to the lakes of the Salzkammergut. Would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake and a must visit to Gmunden on one end of the lake with its castles and villas of the nobility’s of now and past. Not to forget a visit to Hallstatt and the summer residence of the Emperor’s of Austria and Hungary in Bad Ischl. Salzburg the birthplace of Mozart with a visit to the castle and the list goes on.

Couldn't find any faults, comments regarding parking is irrelevant as the situation is the nature of the beast. Space and access is very limited to say the least.

The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.

There is no AC in the room. They said they have something that cools down the walls, but we just didn't feel anything, and it was really hot (30+ degrees Celsius). The room with the view is set in a way that you can watch the view on the lake from the bed. However it leaves less space in the room, which was a bit less comfortable for me with a wheelchair. I was missing some salads for breakfast and I wished that the guy who prepares the eggs would speak English, as I just couldn't explain anything to him.

Location was fabulous with spectacular views! Awesome views! Very cosy bar and restaurant area. Welcome drink was a lovely touch and bar staff friendly and eager to chat. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of variety! Our room had a great view at the front but it did get hot, so we opened the window but the noise from the car park travelled throughout the night so just remember noise travels up and so does the people talking as they left the bar and restaurant. Also, a kettle in the room would be a nice extra. Pillows far too flimsy but again nearly all of Europe seem to have these and no pillow selection which is a shame. Overall though great place to Stay!

The location and view of Traunsee is stunningly beautiful. The Spa in the top floor is perfectly designed and offers a beautiful view to the lake and mountain scenery. The evening dinners in the Bell Étage were very special. We sat on bar stools with direct view of the kitchen activities. The cook explained in great detail about the interesting and appetizing items on the menu.

The background music was annoying and often too loud. During breakfast, normal conversation was not possible. Constant unnecessary background music, even in the relaxing spa rooms.

perfect hotel with amazing location, tasty food, cozy rooms, nice shampoo and soap. but NO air conditioner in a room. Staff said that the hotel has central air conditioning system, and recomended me open a window. however I was looking and did not find any hole like air conditioner in a room. we are lucky because it was a hot day. when we stay at the hotel. Temperature in our room was 26 C. Second day was cold, and absence of air conditioning was no problem for us.

Beautiful room with lakeside view. You could have a shower with the curtains open and still see the lake Fabulous breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful. The evening meals were delicious too. The location was superb, and we were able to use kayaks and paddle boards from the sister hotel. Very picturesque location.

Unless you had a room higher up there was a view of the carpark as well as the lake. We were led to believe that there was a swimming pool and sauna, but this wasn't opened yet. It didn't bother us, but there is only a mini market in the village and few other restaurants. There aren't any shops but that suited us!

The rooms were incredibly comfortable, beautifully designed, and impressively spacious. The breakfast was outstanding — a true highlight — with a chef preparing fresh dishes right in front of you and an amazing variety of delicious options to choose from. The spa was fantastic as well, offering a stylish and relaxing atmosphere with stunning views. I also really enjoyed the beverage restaurant, which was beautifully styled and had a great selection of drinks. Every detail at this hotel was perfect — I can’t wait to come back!

The facilities and rooms were incredible. The view was breathtaking! Great help from the staff with ideas for exploring the area outside of Traunkirchen. Breakfast was fantastic. Be sure to check out their restaurant and bar Belétage - the food was phenomenal and the drinks so enjoyable and tasty. Thank you to the bartender, Marcus, for such a good service and for getting us out of our comfortzone drinks wise. Overall such a great experience!!

We sadly booked a room right beside a construction site, why the first day was affected by this. Luckily the staff was really understanding and helped us find a solution. Thank you for that!

Free kayak and paddle board rentals! We got a newly refurbished room which was very comfortable and spacious. The cake selection at breakfast was great! There is a sister hotel at the lakeside where one can use all facilities free of charge - amazing!

The hotel restaurant felt a bit too fancy for the experience. We would have appreciated a more down to earth offering in price and portion size - a more upscale restaurant can already be found at the sister hotel 1-2 mins away. The hotel offers a free pickup from the train station - however, due to a miscommunication, the hotel waited for us at the wrong train station (Beware: There are two Traunkirchen train stations. The one closest to the hotel, albeit up a steep hill, is Traunkirchen Ort).
