perfect stay for a one night trip to Valparaiso. We went for an art exhibition in Judas Galeria which was around the corner. It is a magical hotel because it really feels like entering a house in the past. all the wooden details are intact and the decoration is authentic to old Valparaiso architecture. we have stayed twice, my favourite room was the one with a balcony that we got the first time, this time we got a room on the second floor that was still very nice but not as nice. The staff was super helpful and made breakfast for us super early ( before the official breakfast time) because we told them we had to drive somewhere else. We really appreciated that! I would reccomend and definitely go back!

The location was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is a beautiful historic building, full of charm and character, and I loved having a room with a Juliet balcony. The staff were always smiling and ready to help, and the breakfast was really enjoyable. Overall, I felt it was good value for money, and would definitely go back.

Just bear in mind that the hotel is up one of Valparaisos many hills. Make sure you have comfy shoes, and definitely use the funicular if you are carrying your luggage! The only thing I would have liked is a bigger shelf or more storage in the bathroom, because I struggled to know where to put things.

This is a beautiful historic home well maintained and charming. It is centrally located on the most main Cerro of interest in this lovely city. The decorations and general feel is understated so you can feel very comfortable to wander about and enjoy the place and surroundings - great setting inside and with great views to the ocean. The staff are amazing and so very helpful - many thanks to Claudia and Damien for all their help.

My favorite hotel on my Chile trip. Classic interior architecture accentuated my experience with its high ceilings, wood herringbone floors, and tall doors plus vented transoms. Solid wood staircase should knock you socks off! Festive rooftop bar with view added evening pleasure. Strong security at entrance. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This property looks like its coming out of pandemic restrictions; perhaps you can say it's seen better times. But you get such a sense of appreciation for what it is and also striving to become. It so beats new, modern buildings with cookie-cutter rooms and amenities. They just don't make them like this anymore!

Beautiful character hotel with stunning views to Valparaiso harbour and city. Loved your stay here. Breakfast was superb and pop up restaurant had a lovely menu and served in the open courtyard. Great location to explore the historic area.

Breakfast was served to us and included fresh scrambled eggs, hot rolls, avocado, yogurt. Very good and in a high ceiling old dining room with views of the harbor. Location was excellent and the old mansion is beatiful. Very quiet at night, room 1 on top floor was spacious and quiet. Charming hotel. Great staff. Would stay again.

Breakfast was very good. It was a very good location. There were stores and restaurants near. The staff was super helpful and courteous.

It felt a little dusty. It had very old rugs.It might be because everything is so old. I was told it was the first house built in that sector of Valparaiso. Now a hotel. But, it had its charm and the staff was #1.

This is a beautiful hotel sitting on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. We had an issue accessing the hotel at first because streets behind the hotel are all one way and very narrow, but once we learned about the hotel's entrance, we could plan where to park our cars more efficiently. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the port and ocean below and everything else is within walking distance. From here, we walked to other streets that are full of graffiti and art works. Breakfast was also one of the best among other hotels we stayed in Chile and Argentina. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful when we need them. They let us leave our luggage in the office after we already checked out.

Getting to the hotel can be a little tricky for those who are not used to driving and parking on narrow and steeply inclined streets. It is not a big issue for us because we stayed only one night, but once you leave the parking spaces behind the hotel, they will be quickly occupied and you will need to find another spot for your car.

This hotel is beautiful and very charming. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Views from the restaurant are gorgeous. View from our room was beautiful apart from the 1 tower block, but there’s nothing they can do about that. WiFi was pretty dent too.

Location, staff, and ambiance were all exceptional. Included breakfast was best of our trip. The port view from our room and small balcony was spectacular. Appreciated that coffee and hot water was available during the day. Took a little getting used to, but the locked front door and handing over our room key each time we went out gave us a good sense of security.

Bathroom/shower was quite petite.
