We always stay at Days Inn Maidstone on our way to the Eurotunnel, and it never disappoints. The room is always spotless and well-kept, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is clean and cosy, perfect for a good night’s sleep after a long drive. The bathroom is tidy, with plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The staff are friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making check-in quick and easy. It’s also in a great location — easy to find, with parking right outside and a few food options nearby. Overall, it’s a reliable and comfortable stopover, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

If we had to mention one small downside, it would be that the rooms are starting to look a little dated, and you can sometimes hear a bit of motorway noise at night — though it’s not too bad and doesn’t usually disturb our sleep. Still, for the price and convenience, it’s a perfect stopover before crossing the Channel, and we’ll definitely continue to stay here.

I stayed here due to my husband being admitted to a local hospital in Dover after a road trip to Italy and becoming poorly. The staff were so very supportive and accomadating to me an my children. Nothing was too much trouble and they took care of bits to ease the pressure from me. The room is spacious and plenty of clean fresh towels. We had a bath and shower, plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Great tv and good wifi. Heated towel rail was a lovely touch. Plenty of space for our luggage. Located with eateries 2 minutes away and straight onto the motorway for travel. super price and value for money. You also have a kettle to make tea and coffee. Really quiet no disturbance from other customer.

Nothing really. Maybe room gets steamy and humid after a hot shower. I just left my window open

Very friendly staff who also had no issues with us keeping our bikes in the room rather than outdoors in the services. Clean room, 2 X double beds which was great for our family of 4. Big rooms. Cheap and easy commutable to Dover for a 10.15 ferry.

The location is pretty uninspiring as it's at a motorway service station and also had a lot of rats outside. However, this aside, it did exactly what it said on the tin, and as we had selected the hotel for practical purposes only it suited us perfectly.

Convenient place to stop with good access to parking. We used it as a base to look around the area. It is pretty basic as a hotel, but since we really only used it for sleeping it wasn't a problem. It was pretty good value for money.

It could do with a few more power points, esp close to the bed, as I have a cpap machine. Having said that, they were very good and let us borrow an extension cord while we were there, so it wasn't a huge problem.

Room was good nice and clean apart from a stray hair on the bath dark short which was there when I arrived

No instructions on how to work the shower and no rails by the toilet for a disabled room there should be one plus it should be just a wet room or a normal shower cubicle, NOT a shower over the bath as most disabled people cant climb or stand on one leg to enter a shower plus bed wheel lock should be applied to stop the bed moving while trying to get into bed

Room was simple but warm and convenient, but there was effectively no room service. We adjusted to this quickly - it's no hardship to make your own bed! But you had to 'catch' the available staff for further supplies of (in our case) tea, milk, coffee, toilet paper. But staff were very helpful when asked.

MUD at entrance. No fault of DAYSINN - modifications on site - but difficult in the dark, when we left and when we arrived. Lights in room too feeble to allow reading or writing at all easily, even in full daylight. A table or standard lamp would have been handy.

The location is just off the M20, quite quiet and has proved comfortable with good sized rooms, pleasant reception staff, good showers and baths, room temperature good . As you might expect from a motorway service area hotel, but somehow better. Free parking and the beds are very comfortable . There is a footpath to the local village, with two pubs, and plenty of walks for fresh air and a good amble.

Excellent location, as I came to visit Leeds Castle and Bodiam Castle and it is located about 10 minutes drive from the first one. The room was clean and surprisingly big. Food courts and a mini supermarket nearby, also great is that parking was free of charge.

The room on the ground floor was a bit cold and there was a leak in the shower which would certainly prevent me from falling asleep if I hadn't been so tired after visiting castles, so in general it was all fine.

I had to have a last minute room change on arrival as The room allocated to me was upstairs and I have limited mobility and can't manage going up and down the stairs, the receptionist was very understanding and found a room downstairs for me.

I would have preferred being able to have the option of upstairs or downstairs as I didn't want to put disabled. Also, maybe you could have some taxi cab numbers somewhere as I don't know Maidstone and had to take a taxi each day to visit my mum in her care home, and I had to ring my daughter to look online for a number for me.

The location was perfect for what I wanted and the 24h little shopping with a Macdonalds, a Costa Coffee and a WhSmith was perfect.

They didnt clean our room in our stay. It was clean when we arrived at the facility and we were there for 2 nights. I expected to have towels and some sort of cleaning done after the first night but nobody came. Also there was no soap available in the bathroom. Not even for hands.
