This is a beautiful, peaceful place with magnificent views. It is based within a (former?) religious establishment and is overall a unique stop in a beautiful location, albeit not the easiest to reach as reflects its peaceful hilltop position. The hotel is a newly rebuilt part of the original structure and is simple but very nice with comfortable rooms.

There is a restaurant on site but it has a rather refectory style of catering, perhaps intended for those staying for a retreat, with a limited and fixed menu (at least on the evening we stayed), which is good value but may not be what you like. Breakfast likewise was quite simple, but more than adequate. The restaurant and the breakfast room reminded me a bit of being back in the refectory of University Halls of Residence. I hope I am not being too negative, but don't plan on a gourmet dinner if you go to this beautiful place.

Absolutely magnificent place! Spiritual, historic and peaceful! The rooms are very modern, comfortable and well maintained. I loved the Mass service in the church, wandering around the premises, learning about the history of the place and especially watching the sun setting and rising!

I texted the hotel trying to book a restaurant as there are no other places where to eat if you arrive after 7 p.m. except for vending machines; however, nobody replied. When we arrived at the reception the young lady told us that they could not accept us in the restaurant that night but when we walked around we saw lots of free tables… In the courtyard there are tables where you can bring your own food and drinks so if you go there late, buy some food in advance in little towns you pass on the way to the top and have a great picnic in the most serene surroundings.

The location, clean quiet room, the food at the canteen was delicious, even if a bit too expensive. The hotel itself is great, stayed for one night, loved the stay a lot. The staff speaks English, which is great for travelers from everywhere :) the bed was comfy too, had a great rest after hiking the entire day!

Check-in is somewhat late (4 PM), comparing to checkout, which is at 10 AM. The only other small inconvenience is the absence of the hairdryer in the hotel room, and I'd also add a tiny kettle so that the tired travelers can drink some hot tea even during the night.

It is in a unique and peaceful location at the top of a mountain. It is part of a monastery and surrounded by hiking trails and beautiful hills. The rooms are small but with good views and quiet.

Breakfast was very basic and a bit crowded- think church social. Wifi was weak but you probably don't stay at a monastery to stream movies. A bit isolated for trips to surrounding villages.

The spirituality of the place associated with a unique experience and atmosphere. The facilities were outstanding and the view was truly stunning. Nothing beats the view. The folks working there were wonderful and very helpful.

The staff are warm, helpful and diligent. They are wonderful; they go out of their way to accommodate your requests. :) The location is incredible (on top of mountain with wooded hiking trails). Everything is very clean. They have a restaurant with lovely views. It is peaceful. I like that this is not a place for partiers.

The mattresses and pillows are not comfortable. I would have paid more for something comfortable. However, this is a return stay because everything else is so great!

Majestic location at the top of a mountain in a monastery. Couldn’t ask for more beautiful surroundings. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Everything very clean and well kept.

We found to rooms to be a little on the basic side. Although everything was clean and comfortable.

Besides just staying in a Hotel it was a whole experience, there were different activities to do around and a wide variety of food options (good prices). The staff was kind and helpful.

The road to go to the property has a maximum speed of 70, but the road is narrow and on a ravine. It can also be really dangerous after a snowfall.

The location was fantastic and the setting tranquil. Had a great nights sleep. The views from the hotel over the forest made the stay worthwhile. The hotel could not do enough and we are grateful for the support and kindness shown when one of our group had a medical emergency. It is much appreciated and will have no hesitation in staying here again.

None to be honest, there was no TV in the room but not a problem.

The place is very quiet. I did not notice the bells until 9AM. The room was functional. The breakfast was great.

Like in many hotels, the lack of AC was a bit problematic as it was the dog days. As the place is a bit far from the closest city and the restaurant closes very early, IMO, in the evening, it might be a good idea to have diner before checking it.
