We are a family of 5 staying in a family room. Room Was comfortable and perfect for us. The bathrooms were adequate a d the room was clean. The A/C was great. The staff were lovely although it was hard to communicate with some due to language barriers. The pool was a great addition and was clean. Well worth the money. The location was ok and a short tuk tuk from the main beaches. The breakfast was excellent with a huge buffet and a variety of foods. The dinner food was good for the money but don’t expect a 5 start dining experience. The variety was also good and they had everything in the menu we requested. Overall we would Return to this hotel for the value.

We were charged large amount for laundry so ask the price before you give it to them.

Chef cannot cook even if his life depended on it. My son ordered the most expensive dish on the menu, tender stack, all he got was an overcooked piece of meat that he could cut even with a sword. They don’t clean the room on daily basis. Stayed for a week and they offered to clean the room on the 5th day. Swimming pool water has something that hurts the eyes while diving. Scooter parking area keeps getting flooded by the rain water. This one has nothing to do with the hotel itself, Sri Lanka has a plastic problem. The hotel is close to the non touristic end of the beach which is full of plastic. If you stay here get a scooter it makes the stay more pleasant.

Facilities are very good for the value. Restaurant staff is very good & helpful.

Receptionist wanted more exposure on this role. Management team is only trying to welcome foreigners. They should respect to local people in country.The way they treated to local is not acceptable. The room they are showing is different & photos are different what they are posted in booking.com. Need to check the room type & size properly before confirm the booking.

I really liked the hotel for both its style, layout and closeness to nature. My room was comfortable and very clean with a nice firm bed. The aircon and fan worked perfectly and were much needed. My room was right next to the pool and there was even a carp pond outside my bedroom door! The pool was smallish but very clean and refreshing. Breakfast was Sri Lankan with enough choice and was freshly prepared. The staff overall were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Whilst located 2km away from the beach, JKAB Park provides a really lovely oasis away from the busy streets of Trincomalee. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would stay here again.

I couldn't get a connection to the hotel wifi and sometimes the service using a local Sim card was quite poor.

The location, layout of the place. We had a good room, close to the pool and restuarant. The staff are excellent, front desk, house keeping and the restuarant. They were friendly and very helpful, we were treated as valued customers. The room would have been spacious if there was only a double bed, instead of a double and single. We also enjoyed watching the fish on both sides of the entrance to the room.

The double and also the spare single bed in the room. Would have nice if the breakast menu had some choices like eggs, bread rolls or sliced bread

Hotel located in few km away from town in Nilaweli road, very easy to find. Hotel environment is fantastic, every where beautiful flower plants. There is a good benefit to reach Trinco beach through their other JAKB BEACH HOTEL. Breakfast is very good in all days(not a buffet-due to less guests).Hotel Manager was very friendly and helpful. Hotel family room very good and A/C was well functioning. All the days fresh towel and tea making items supplied with out fail. Thank for all staff members ,we will reach again in near future.

Most of the staff members are not welcoming the visitors with a smile face. Better to improve it.

I really enjoyed my stay in your hotel room are clean and confetable and wean we arriva the hotel the maneger really helpful and very friendly with customers and with good smiling and he arenge me the tuk tuk to do the city tour that all so we enjoyed overall ve really happy with my stay people who are going to trincomalee I really recommend jkab Park Hotel

The hospitality provided by the staff was exceptional. We took the train from Colombo and arrived Trinco early in the morning, around 6.30 am. When we talked to the hotel manager (Richard), he arranged our room and we got the chance for a early check-in. Richard you are superb!! The room was spacious, clean and AC/hotwater were good. Although this hotel is located a bit far from beach the facilities are good. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can order your food and it's also very tasty. I would recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

It's a very comfortable stay and worth every penny we paid. I was bit hesitant to book this hotel seeing some reviews on booking.com but finally decided to book given the fact that it has a swimming pool. We are really happy about the decision we made and below are the reasons. We arrived a bit early and Richard was kind enough to offer an early check in at no additional cost. It has a spacious swimming pool and they maintain it very well. The room is well cleaned and has a very comfortable bed. If you are traveling with a child, i would recomend a triple room.Hot water works really well and it's way ahead some of the 5 star hotels we stayed. AC works really well too. We needed WIFI and they provide us a router which is very fast. Their breakfast buffet is really good and has varieties too. Main thing is evey food is very tasty (Especially the chicken) and my wife still talks about them, tasty than some of the 5 star hotels in the area i would say. The staff is very helpful too. You can't expect the service level of a 5 star hotel from them. They normally do not come forward talk to you like in the 5 stars but when you need something, they do it efficiently. That is the service i expect from a hotel in this caliber. Finally, the manager (Richard) is very helpful too, and do not hesitate to go an extra mile when you need something. Having stayed in some of the similar hotels with very high ratings ( in the same area) this hotel is far better than them i would say. Its such a shame that this hotel has kinda low ratings on booking.com. Everyone comes to this area should definitely try this hotel. We won't this twice to return. Keep up the good work guys.
