I loved the availability of parking space, the buffet breakfast. The staff were quite helpful and courteous, i also loved the Christmas holiday decorations at the reception. The outdoor pool was warm which was great considering it was quite chilly. I loved the fluffy pillows and there was a generous amount of it and i also liked that you could get a microwave , for a fee ofcourse.Location is great too, lots of restaurants and eatouts nearby
The air conditioning was quite poor, i had to request a change of room and the next room was just slightly better. So when it gets sunny from noon till about 4pm, the room gets warm

Breakfast included with stay was great! Location excellent for our parks, fishing and close to family needs. Outdoor pool and hot-tub with poolside food and drink service was amazing! Steam room as well as gym was a bonus.
Pillows were a little too soft, would benefit from firmer option in room. Would be nice if all rooms included microwave instead of having to request. Without saying what was found I encourage cleaning staff to be sure to check the shelving underneath the sink when cleaning rooms to see if anything left behind. I found something on third night that had definitely been there for sometime before our stay. Rest of the room cleanliness was amazing!

*pool is amazing and they serve drinks as well while you enjoy the hot tub or heated swimming pool *breakfast is wonderful and changes a bit daily, we enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and the day they served Cinnamon French Toast ! *staff were very friendly Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the corners of the beds. Almost all 4 of us got badly hurt from banging into the extremely sharp edges. (Definitely need a better design…) There were no robes in the room as we had last time but this was a minor detail Love this place and we plan to come back again for years to come!

The location is excellent, staff is courteous and helpful, housekeeping was excellent, room was clean and reasonably comfortable; many services offered onsite, with bars, pub, restaurant, bakery, etc.
No armchair or couch in the room, only an desk chair not overly comfortable, there was no foldable luggage rack (pretty basic in any hotel around the world) either so you need to put your luggage directly on the floor, while it was very clean the room was supposed to have been recently renovated but was obviously not, the setup of the room is rather basic with just a very very long desk and an office chair, the tv is just over the desk, but hanging fairly low so you need to sit on the bed to watch it.

The room was clean and the temperature was just right. Bed was comfy. Very quiet room; had a restful sleep. There was a book filled with lots of useful information. Example: how to adjust thermostat, all the restaurants in house, and pool hours. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety. There was sausage, bacon, potatoes, apple pastry, eggs, fruit, and croissants. The fitness room was a good size. We didn't have time to use the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, but we are already planning another stay here and will make sure to try it out. Very convenient location. Close to restaurants & shopping. Shout out to Sukhdeep at the check in counter. She was awesome!!!
Nothing. We had a great stay!!!

Staff were excellent, room was spotlessly clean. We come here all the time, it's an excellent value.
Small inconsistencies vexed us - There was no secondary lock on the door (like a dead bolt), the fan in the bathroom didn't work properly, the sink drained very slowly. They need to work on how they describe rooms here on booking.com (so that guests don't book a floor described as 'upper floor' or 'mountain facing' and end up on a low floor looking towards the city. But we still love the hotel.

The breakfast variety was good and delicious, especially the cookies were fresh and tasty. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.🥰 we had room service every day.
The bathroom size was quite small. When we first entered the room, the toilet area was dirty, but after we informed the reception, they came quickly to clean it. Later, we noticed the toilet was clogged and had a bad smell, and again, after we reported it, they came while we were out and fixed it

Nicely and newly renovated, very clean! Comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Great location not too far from downtown, plenty of food and shopping in the immediate vicinity as well. A really good option for visiting friends and family in the Acadia / Heritage Park area. Equally an excellent option if you need to be downtown but don't want to stay down there. Oh and free and convenient parking as well. The hotel also has a few good restaurants and tons of meeting and event space. Would happily stay again!
There was nothing to complain about. Everything was spot on. Nice property!

Comfortable beds, good breakfast, nice pool area, friendly staff.
The exercise room needs more yoga mats, and 3 & 5 lb. weights. I also didn’t like the very draconian pet policy I had to sign AFTER the hotel had taken my money. The hotel claims to be pet friendly, but they are not allowed anywhere except in the room, and on the patio at the Peanuts restaurant. That is typical for most hotels, but is not actually pet friendly, but “pet tolerated.” You cannot hold your small dog in your lap at the pool, which meant that me and my husband had to take turns enjoying the pool area.

Our stay was quiet and comfortable the first night. The second night there was a wedding with rowdy guests who kept us awake until 2:30 am. Not impressed!
I am upset with Booking.com. The room we stayed in we were charged $240/night by the Booking.com. When I asked the front desk what our room would be had I booked it directly with the Carriage House it was $130/night. The room was NOT worth $240/night. I will definitely NOT use Booking.com for any of my further reservations. I was very disappointed in the quality of the room! I will reserve my next stay directly with the hotel. I feel as though I have been scammed $300 plus by Booking.com!!
