Check-in was quick and easy, which was a great start. We were given spacious rooms—definitely appreciated! The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, but comfy enough for a one-night stay. The toiletries and shower products were surprisingly nice, a step up from the usual hotel basics. The location was convenient—really close to a mall. We drove back and forth, but it’s totally walkable if you’re up for it. Oh, and my nieces absolutely loved the pool—major win there!

The pool water could’ve been a bit warmer

I liked how there was a room divider, and two TVs. I liked how there was a slide in the pool. The pillows were comfortable. The bed was comfortable.

The swimming pool was very cold but what was worse was how the air conditioning was on in the swimming area. I did call a couple days prior to confirm that the pool and hot tub were working and upon arrival I found the hot tub was not working. A minor issue was the sink was plugged. Needs more lighting in the room.

This hotel was perfect for our stay over Christmas. We were very close to the family and friends that we were celebrating with. The hotel was clean and the services were all available. Our grandchildren totally enjoyed the pool and waterslide. The breakfast was decent and got you going early morning.There was an attention to cleanliness, even though the hotel was under a bit of renovation. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Location is convenient to shopping and close to downtown. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Comfi bed but not a fan of the pillows, but that's just me. Pool was a wonderful temperature. Staff were very friendly.

The renovations will be lovely once they are done. I will definitaley stay again when completed. I didn't mind the construction, just the noise. The hot tub was not working at the time I was there.

The Renovations completed to the property are very nice and modern. A great selection of items at the breakfast. Staff was very polite and professional.

One Remote controlled two TV's in the suite. Was inconvenient to watch one tv while the other one tried to follow the commands of the tv being used. 2 TVs in same suite offered different channel options, very odd. Breakfast room very crowded with cluster of tables, hard to navigate. Lack of Lighting in the room.

Staff, were all very helpful and very kind as well. Check-in was done quickly and professionally. Pool and hot tub were a nice addition. my room also had a jacuzzi tub, so being that it was a weekend and fairly busy, the second night of my stay, I decided to use it instead of going down stairs to the hot tub.

Honestly, the only thing I would criticize is the parking lot. What a mess!! Massive pothole right through where you have to drive. And very tight, especially if you drive a pickup truck.

Location is good - easy access to MacLeod Trail. Breakfast was very good. There is enough seating available. Room was excellent - wasn't expecting such a large room. Loved the walk in shower as I am disabled. Very comfortable bed and pillows. A/C was great

Only thing I would say is that you need more handicapped parking. Two is not enough

It was conveniently located between my destinations, the breakfast was wonderful - the staff were always refilling everything for all guests to get everything, the beds/rooms were comfy and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash/lotion was Dove and there was enough to wash my thick curly hair

The pool closing time (10pm), small towels in the pool and bathrooms, the deck of the pool by the front door was dirty.

The entire lobby is under renovation... so is dusty, down to concrete. The kitchen area is small, not very many tables. We were there over a weekend and there were many sports teams so seating and food availability was scarce!

Parking was very difficult to find, especially when it is minus 25, late at night. Maybe during a weekday it would be different than a weekend.

Location fit my needs for business meetings & recreation access.

My original Calgary flight on Thursday, July 6 @ 9:20p was rescheduled to 10:20p; this rescheduled flight was then cancelled due to poor weather (thunder, lightening, rain) at Calgary Airport. This flights was postponed to Friday, July 7 @ 10a to Edmonton, then to Calgary arriving @ 4:20p... I called HIE Calgary-south @ 12:20a July 7 & informed of the change in my reservation... I was anticipating a 'no-charge' for Thursday, July 6 reservation... due to weather conditions that was out of my control. Please consider this scenario as one that could not be avoided... & consider a reasonable reimbursement for 1 night. Otherwise, the HIE-calgary south served my purposes. Thank you for your kind considerations.
