The staff were really great, very friendly and a credit to the organisation. There’s a pool (with a small water slide) and a gym for those wanting some leisure/fitness time.

The property was further from the airport and downtown than I thought, though the Uber cost was reasonable and the public transport to downtown and the tram from downtown to the hotel were cheap and efficient nb there are bars and restaurants nearby the hotel (McDonald’s too for budget dining) and lots of convenience stores eg Walmart, coop.

Breakfast was great. Staff were amazing and always checked up on us and always greeting once arriving at the hotel. The place was very clean. The pool was nice for the kids. It was within distance with a lot of things!

Not a lot of dryers available. The hotel had a total of 4 washers and 4 dryers. However they only had 1 dryer available and by the time my washer was done I couldn’t even finish my laundry because I needed to check out. But it wasn’t the hotels fault, it was other people staying at the hotel that left their clothes in the dryer.

The continental breakfast was decent with eggs and sausage. Choice of cereal was good and kids had fun making their own waffles. Even more fun getting them out after they were done. LOL! The pool and waterslide were a hit. C-train was only a 10 min walk away which was awesome. Walmart was next door and lots of restaurants in the area.

The pool is too small for the water slide. Unfortunately, you couldn't just float and relax due to the size. You were always on the look out for someone coming down the slide. People were often hit by people coming down if they werent paying attention. The location by the airport has a much bigger pool.

The staff were very friendly at the front desk and at breakfast. Really, it was our first trip to AB and everyone in the hotel, including guests were nice. The hot tub was under construction and there was some confusion about if we could use the pool or not. The chatted with the construction workers and 5 minutes later we were in the water. We also liked the location. It was further away from the airport than we expected, but we had lots of choices for meals, with Walmart, Dollarama, Shoppers, CT all within walking distance.

It was a great price for our 2 nights. We were expecting a "value" option but it was better than that. We don't have any complaints.

Overall everything was good. Standard hotel accommodations kept in good condition and clean.

I didn't see waffles at the breakfast....i saw boxes of waffles as a delivery had just arrived, son maybe there wasn't any to put out yet...a waffle with the eggs and sausage would have been great, but thats not even a complaint, just something i didn't "like". The other thing was the scrambled eggs were wierd. Probly cause theyre the pre mixed egg liquid in a carton eggs. I get it. Real eggs are hard to work with logistically in a hotel buffet breakfast. But maybe mix the egg liquid with powedered egg? That may improve the texture. As they had a wierd mouthfeel. Ind powdered eggs ive had have a decent mouthfeel. Just my opinion. Not a deal breaker by any means. However, a discounted price for opting out of breakfast would be a nice feature. Cheers!

Location to amenities was awesome, Walmart right next door and a wide range of food options in walking distance. The indoor swimming pool with hydro slide was a great hit with the kids and the make your own waffles at breakfast were so good. Overall highly recommend this place to stay. Good value for money.

Bathroom was a little tight...but other than that everything was great.

Room was surprisingly bigger than what we expected. Bed was very comfortable. We liked the bathroom layout with the sink etc separate from toilet/shower.

It was fine for what we expected! We were a bit concerned when discovering there was 2 youth hockey teams staying in hotel - the lobby/breakfast area was a complete gong show with a team pizza party. However, kuddos to both hotel staff and families on those teams - no kids running up/down hallways nor parents having socials all in one room/hallways!

The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choices. We didn't realize how far from the city center it was, but that was our mistake. If you want easy access to the south and east of the city, it's well located.

During the weekend there were youngsters participating in a sports tournament of some sort. They were quite noisy in the hallways into the evening.

Hotel is clean and in great condition. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly.

I was disappointed that the hot tub was out of order. An email earlier said it was under repair until May 16 but must have meant June 16. But this is minor. The only other disappoinent was the continental breakfast offered. All carbohydrates...toast, bagels, cereal. Nothing fresh like dairy or proteins.

Overall great hotel. Kids loved the pool and the room. Arcade in the hotel room was a nice treat. Spacious. Only real complaint is the ac unit is right next to the bed and had to be run all night long to keep cool so not the greatest sleep.

Needs a better AC unit. Bathroom is really cramped, can hardly shut the door with you inside the room. Overall tho Iv stayed at far worse places
