The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was fine, overall very good stay, I recommend it. We had a rental car so we drove for daily trips and on the last day we parked in the centre for sightseeing in Calgary. So not central position did not bother us, we opted for this place based on a very reasonable price.

Just a subjective remark, not really a criticism. What we found inconvenient everywhere in Canada is that there is only a fixed shower and that all pillows are too thick, so the neck position is no comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly located just a 5-minute walk from the train station and close to both Tim Hortons and McDonald's (currently under renovation). The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, the hotel was in excellent condition for a stay in Calgary. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. The highlight of our stay was the included breakfast, which offered a wide variety of buffet-style options. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Calgary. It’s conveniently near downtown, has great transportation options, and offers excellent value for the price.

It would be great to have a safe box included in the room.

Having recently traveled across Canada and back across the US, I've noticed that even cheap US motels give a great selection of TV channels in their rooms. Back here in Canada you'd be lucky to get more than 1 film channel and a sparse selection of other channels. This isn't good enough! Also, the standards of US hotels (even comparing US/Canadian hotels in the same chain) is noticeably better! It's about time this changed!

Great Staff and breakfast. easy parking. Close to down town and all the fun stuff that we were looking for. Comfy Beds and pillows. Pretty perfect.

Hot tub was a little stinky. Lol. Could use a shower in the pool area for people to rinse off before entering. I may have missed it? But didn't see one. Also bigger pool towels. I don't think I'm that big..but couldn't dry off with the dish towels supplied in the pool area. Sorry. Everything else was great. The temps were perfect!!

I give it an 8 because it is indeed good for the price. This is one of the cheapest available hotel in Calgary and as is, it was decent. Bed was comfortable. Katherina at front desk was polite, efficient, knowledgeable. It was clean enough.

Good to know if its a deal breaker for you: - You can hear the street and train as is the windows were open. - The whole floor is carpet. I’m sure it gets vaccumed, but I highly doubt it get clean. - There was hair in my bed. - The breakfast choice is bad. Still, as I say, you get what you pay for, and for this price, its a very correct option.

Everything is clean and tidy. Very comfortable rooms.

We arrived as three families. At checkout the staff messed up the payment by linking the cards and rooms to other names. One of the rooms was charged one amount, when we checked out the charge was increased without explanation (allegedly tax was added, but for the other rooms it was included and stated initially). Payment was made twice, with a $100 damage deposit and at checkout without it. It is clear that this is not a write-off but a pre-payment, but in fact a double blocking of funds.

The staff are nice and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. There’s a water dispenser in front of the front desk.

I asked the staff to print out my receipt, but he said they don’t print it, which I don’t understand. I texted them and received an immediate response, which was great, but I still haven’t received the receipt. They charged me a refundable $200 when I checked in, but when I stayed at another Days Inn location, they didn’t charge it. I don’t know why it’s different under the same hotel brand.

I just like most are those receptionist those helping us and every question that we asked she answer me in a nice way. She's really good when it comes on customer service assistance. The breakfast is really great hope bect time someone who assist in waffle maker or hope there's an advance cook in waffle because not all the guest don't know how to cook a waffle 😀 specially if teenager or kids don't don't how to cook waffle😇.

There was no microwave in my room and no water in gym area 😍.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff and accommodation ware excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. We would book your hotel again, when we next visit Calgary. Thank you all for looking after us. We couldn't have asked for more. Rio was excellent. He went out of his way to help us. Nothing wasn't too much trouble for him. With the inclusion of allowing dogs. That was a big help for us and not an issue for staff or fellow guests of the Days Inn. Barney loved everyone's attention. Thank you all again.

The Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary South was a great stay. Located about 30 minutes by Uber from the airport, it’s perfectly positioned next to our camping car pickup center, making it super convenient. Plenty of restaurants are within walking distance, providing lots of dining options. The motel itself was nice, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Ideal for a quick, hassle-free stop in Calgary!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property—it was all great!
