The location was fantastic and the look of the hotel is great. We had a few issues however, this was rectified super quickly. The guys behind the bar is great and the pool was a lovely touch.

Sadly we had an issue with our first room, however we mentioned this was rectified and I am very thankful. Sadly, we had an issue when it came to communication within the hotel regarding an anniversary surprise. This did not arrive, so I cancelled, for it to arrive after we had cancelled (then was too late and the surprise had been spoilt) For me then to be billed for it after I had cancelled it. Over all, messy communication was frustrating which made me distrust the rest of our stay when it came to sorting other items and by the time of check out, I felt tired having to bring up any other issues.

The place is phenomenal, and the staff were superb. A big shout out to the front desk staff named Cameron, he is a wonderful guy, help on on everything from inquiry to procedure on how to do things. He is an awesome guy. Also, there is a big shout out to our server at the pool, I think her name is Bella. She is a magnificent server, not only to us but to all guests on the pool, doing multi-tasking things and taking notes while doing that. She makes sure her guests are satisfied. We will definitely come back to this hotel, worth spending money and a very pleasant ambiance.

Location was great (close to lots of restaurants and town centre), parking lots, room decor was nice

Demolition across the street (although we were warned about this in advance), room quite small and on pool roof level (often had people wandering about - perhaps for maintenance?), valet out front told us we had to 10 mins to get our suitcases out and return to our vehicle (despite signs saying 20 mins and front desk staff giving us this option to unload), room was on smaller side, pool was busy and we never used it because of this, expensive for 2 nights

I think the service staff was amazing. They were very accommodating with our requests! I always loved Hotel Arts when it first opened up. I didn’t get the chance to eat at Yellow Door, but we enjoyed Social Club. We didn’t make it to the pool this trip. The beds were comfy. I love SKOAH, so I loved the fact you had SKOAH products! I loved the black out curtains - it made it so much easier to sleep. Lots of charging ports and plug-ins.

The loudness of the hotel guests next to us. The walls are quite thin. We had two separate guests in the room next to us who were quite loud. The staff was able to help us with the first rounds of guests. The second round was only noisy in the afternoon, so that didn’t bug us! That would be the only complaint. However, I guess it is a pool party kind of destination and “Chasing Summer” was also occurring. So a much younger party crowd is to be expected. Also, no microwave? But that’s ok.

Hotel Arts is the perfect place for exploring the city centre of Calgary. It is located in the heart of the city, with the main attractions/city centre in walking distance. The staff, especially at the reception, is super friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendations and supported all our needs. The pool area is really great too and allows for some hours away from the huzzle and buzzle of the city life. As for the rooms, our double room was really spacious and the AC worked well to make sure the atmosphere is cozy. All in all a really great stay and I highly recommend Hotel Arts for exploring the city!

You should really book your pool time, because unfortunately you can only stay at the pool for around three hours, as the pool area is rather small.

The staff went over and above and made our stay more enjoyable than I thought possible. We had a glitch in our movie and they comped it ans sent up Maintenance, who quickly fixed the issue. we had a do not disturb sign in order that we do not get housekeeping and then we got a phone call asking if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Hotel Arts! The purpose of our stay was a girly staycation and have a pool day and the atmosphere in the pool is cozy and warm and totally met our expectation.

Great location central in town. Heated pool.

The pool is technically managed by a club and frequented by locals. They also try to be super in and trendy. All good for them but as a hotel guest you are an optional and - my feeling - not welcome guest. Need to make pool side reservation to have a space and book days in advance, also it is more a bar than a pool, it feels like you must consume.

Very convenient location. Close to the BMO centre where we need to be. Lots of restaurants close by. Hotel was very nice. Staff was very helpful. Nice large bathroom sink counter to layout things. We didn’t use housekeeping as we had the “do not disturb” sign on the whole time but the hotel made sure that we are aware that they did not clean our room because of the sign and that they are there until 9 pm if we need service.

Tub was small and slippery. No microwave in the room. Not many power outlet available in the room.

From checkin to checkout everyone had their customer service hat on. Clean rooms, modern amenities and great pool and restaurants....we really could have just stayed in the facility.solid 9 out of 10. I rarely give a 10.

Not much, maybe one or two more luggage carts...hard to find at checkout. Touched base with front desk on maintenance issues that could be handled after we left.

Close proximity to downtown. The restaurant has outstanding food. Breakfast was spectacular.  Very attentive, staff / Management / Valet Parking Staff / Waitresses in the restaurant.

This hotel is not wheelchair friendly. Power wheelchair did not fit through the door of my hotel room.  But I must commend management for coming up with a quick solution to store my power wheelchair in their office after my care staff got me into my room. Another recommendation I would add to management is to have a showerhead that has an on and off button and a holder so it’s easier for handicapped individuals to shower themselves.
