I had a pleasant one-night stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Calgary Downtown. The overall experience was good. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. However, I was surprised that overnight parking incurred a $21 charge. I opted to park outside, taking advantage of the free parking from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. This did not pose any inconvenience, as I left early the next morning. Overall, it was a comfortable stay.

Offering more free parking options, especially for overnight guests, would be appreciated. This could enhance the value proposition for guests.

Location is amazing right in downtown! Ladies from the breakfast were very nice. Veda were very comfortable and the rooms big!

In the rooms, is missing a big mirror, cups in the wc and hangers for the towels. Breakfast needs to improve: missing cheese, ham, some other fruit, some other bread, pastries… what is presented is packed… not so attractive…which is a petty! On the last day we had no housekeeping, neither proper hot water… By checking out the lady was not so ‘hospitality’ focused: “ok… we have a cc in the system, all is good!” Could have asked about the stay , if we enjoyed, how was the room, etc etc When we asked the night before the directions, the answer was: you can take the bus or a taxi. Simple as that! ( which bus? How much the taxi roughly?)

Probably the best location in the city. I could get to many places easily by walking. I'm sure it would be really nice to come during the summertime when it's not too cold to walk around the downtown area. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and polite!

Parking is not Free; I understand that they are located in downtown, and nothing is free, but it was a shock when we realized it was not free. they really tried to make the price fair by making the parking location secure and spotless; I really appreciate that.

The location is awesome! Very close to all downtown Calgary attractions. The rooms were clean and the front desk staff were great. The cost was also very reasonable.

The decor is dated which one would expect given the low cost of the rooms. I did have a problem with the roof top pool deck. We went out there before 9pm and there was no lighting at all. Also there was a serious security issue in that access to the pool deck did not require a room card. We just walked in. Anyone could gave walked in off the street, which is a huge problem in that area! Also, guests should be aware that the parking garage will not accommodate vehicles over 6ft!! There is surface parking reasonably close by, though.

Great location and the room was fine. A small fridge in the room would've been great. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a buffet breakfast that was really good and valet parking available.

The air conditioning in the building was not working. It was not the fault of the hotel but there was no communication about that. I found out when I called the desk to say that I couldn't turn the air conditioning on. There was a window that opened, but it had no screen. The staff did provide a discount, which was much appreciated.

The location of the hotel was not to bad & downtown was a short walk away. Having the Fox On 6th attached made our dining choices easy & with no problems getting back to our room we could enjoy a few quiet drinks. Also having a staffed front desk 25/7 adds to your sense of security.

Unfortunately, room selection is an issue & requires some planning. If you have an early start do not stay above the pool area, as that can be an issue if guests want to take advantage of the pool later into the evening. Also the room had no mini bar/refrigerator which made keeping drinks cold impossible.

Right downtown, easy walking distance. Easy going front desk staff, easy access to the hotel, parking next door

No bottled water in room. Three vending machines: floor 3, 6, 8. My room was floor 9. Vending machines on floor 8 and 6 were either broken or out of supplies. The room information sheet on the desk did not mention needing a coupon for breakfast or the price of $18.00 if you don’t have a coupon, that was a disappointment to find out from a less than helpful attitude restaurant host.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and great to work with. Plenty of amenities were close by, and the metro was close by and made for easy travel.

It was sad the pool was closed, though I understand that it is an outdoor pool, it would be nice to have hot tubs available. There was construction happening around the hotel, but that is outside your control.

Every thing was fine. The people at the counter were pleasant and helpful. The girl checked her internet for me. Service was excellent. There was water at the counter. Staff gave me 25% off buffet. Staff were pleasant and there for me. Thanks everyone. The area around the check in looked very nice when entering. The door was locked in the evening , which was good for security. Hotel location was excellent.

My room was cold. i would have liked to raise the heat on the wall myself , like some other hotels allow. I was given a heater but was unable to set it. Returned it next morning. I got 25 % off buffet but at other hotels in Montreal have a lite buffet. I'm from Cornwall, Ontario. The fox restaurant sign was misleading on the sixth floor. There is a sign on the sixth floor . I thought the restaurant was off the Sixth floor. The restaurant is closed on the weekend anyway.

the location is great where you can go bustling areas by walking. It's also convenient to go Prince's Island park by walking. Staffs are very kind and helpful.

It's very noisy from next building during weekend. There are several pubs nearby. The loud music and noises disturb sleeping from 23:00 until 02:30 a.m. The bathtub wasn't clean where I found hairs left by previous guest.
