It is my second time at the hostel and I must say that its greatest strength is its staff. Worthy of imitating the good service and attention. The girls on staff do more than what is surely their responsibility and it shows. But still his work is Excellent. It's like a poor circus where they have to do everything and they do it exceptionally well. I had the opportunity just a few days before to stay at the other hostel next to the Central library and I must say that this location is 1000 times better in everything. Love the coffee machine and its respective roasted bean. A detail that makes the difference and for me it is worth gold.

A curfew hour must be implemented where the rest of others is respected. The two times I have stayed there are those who continue partying late in the morning and don't let them rest

We booked the only private room in this hostel. Upon arrival the lady was very helpful to explain everything. Room was clean and warm ( we visited in November ). Despite it is a hostel, there was plenty of common space to stay outside the room. I particularly liked the quiet reading area. Breakfast was like in Italy, lots of fruits, jam, nutella and other sweet stuff, there is even a pancake maker, kitchen area is big enough for a few people to prepare their food and there is enough seats outside to eat comfortably. Was a positive surprise that we received a free laundry voucher because of the number of nights we stayed, although the washed clothes did not have any washing powder smell. Staff was very helpful arranging our stay extended with one extra day, which we really appreciated. Bathroom/toilet was not overly busy during our stay and was clean enough for us. Most of the guests were quiet and everyone was respectful and this hotel only accepts tourists, no locals allowed to stay, which I think is a good thing. On our leaving day staff allowed us to leave our luggage in the building locked away and we could come back to the lobby, use the bathroom. Hospitality was amazing, we don`t normally book hostel kind of accommodation, and this place was well above our expectation.

What I would like to highlight is Breakfast and kind staff. Good location in the city centre, close to many key places. Rooms are spacious so we are able to arrange our stuff without bothering others guests. There are three common areas which is good. The kitchen works amazing and there are plenty of space for everyone. Free coffee 24/7.

There is only one locker in the bathroom to put our stuff when we are going to take a shower. There are no seats in the bathroom. There is no curtains on the bunks bed for more privacy.

This was my first time in a Hostel. I was a little apprehensive at first but the staff was SO friendly and put me at ease from the moment I stepped it. Very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness (bed sheets, washrooms and overall facilities). I've read previous reviews mentioning the small showers but I found it wasn't THAT small (think typical gym-shower size). Overall great stay! I've raved about it to my friends, and we will definitely be back!

I am a pretty light-sleeper, so my sleep for the first couple of nights was not the best. I found the beds were pretty creaky (as expected from bunk beds honestly, plus I had the bottom bunk), and you could hear anyone coming in/out the bedroom and going about their day when trying to sleep (although everyone is very considerate and mindful of their noise-level). So you should be good if you are a heavier sleeper or, like me, come equipped with good earplugs! I slept really well once I had them!

Great staff great vibes well run and very clean . The staff are fabulous very helpful and good to talk to and offer loads of advice and tips on where To eat or visit so kind and friendly The rooms are spacious and very clean beds are comfortable and the show room is cleaned daily and good water pressure and always hot water !! The social aspect of this hostel just makes it worth coming to because it's got triva, free beer nights, karaoke and just a general good vibe here Can't recommend it enough!

The staff were great— accommodating, friendly, fun. A group of us went out the first night I was there & staff made sure all of us were accounted for throughout the night & showed us around downtown nightlife. The kitchen is nice & the beds were pretty comfortable. Everything was clean & I met some really wonderful fellow travelers. I also felt super safe as each guest is given a key that only opens the front door & their own room. I liked it so much that I stayed in Calgary for 2 nights longer than expected.

The showers are small, but even so that’s not a real complaint— I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Calgary.

Being a FOM hotel. For me this hostel is good: - Staff are very helpful. Especially, The girl is working with morning shift. 👍🏻 - Clean + Quiet + Comfortable - Location quite good for me. Arround 1km, You can take bus, train or go to shopping mall... - There are the board with full of information for who needs it. - Feeling as home with kitchen, common space.... - Price is perfect for me with my stay.

I'm not sure. This is the style or because I'm a FOM... But If the guest forget the key, just feel free to assist. Even 100 times 😁

Basically everything. Well, I am used to cheaper hostels but that's a normal price for Canada. The room was huge (I think 12 bed room) and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good and long (7:30-10:30). The kitchen is huge and there are shelves to leave your food. Also, three fridges. Dining/leisure room is nice. The location is good, too.

Nothing, everything was great. Maybe more toilets and showers would be good but I didn't have to wait in a queue, so maybe it's not necessary.

The hostel is in a good location, the room was pleasant, the bunk beds were comfortable, the kitchen was big, the breakfast amazing and the staff were very nice and helpful. Every evening the program is shared.

The space in the showers is really small, when it is a problem to change clothes in peace, and I would probably like a better socket solution for the upper bunk beds, because access to the socket behind the bed is not very easy to reach. Otherwise, maximum satisfaction.

The staff were great and the free breakfast was fantastic,lots to choose from, even vegemite 😊 My bed was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. It's in a great position with easy access to Downtown Calgary.

I booked a private room and expected to pay more but it was still quite expensive for what it was. Calgary accommodation is expensive and I wasn't going to pay what others were asking. All in all for the location and the breakfast, it was great.
